Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that chemistry learning in schools remains predominantly theoretical and does not sufficiently engage students actively, particularly regarding the abstract topic of electrolysis cells. To address this issue, a website-based teaching module was developed using the Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) learning model, designed to improve students’ understanding, motivation, and learning outcomes. The module development employed a Research and Development approach using the ADDIE model, which consists of the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data collection instruments included expert validation sheets, learning implementation observation sheets, and student response questionnaires. Validation results from six validators showed an Aiken’s V value of 0.91, indicating that the module is classified as highly valid. A limited trial involving 38 twelfth-grade students resulted in an implementation score of 95%. Student responses reached 91%, categorized as very good, covering aspects of material quality, visual design, practicality, and overall usefulness of the module. Overall, the website-based teaching module using the AIR model is deemed feasible, engaging, easy to use, and effective in supporting the teaching of electrolysis cells within the Merdeka Curriculum.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih dominannya pembelajaran kimia yang bersifat teoritis dan kurang melibatkan peserta didik secara aktif, khususnya pada materi sel elektrolisis yang bersifat abstrak. Solusi untuk menjawab kebutuhan tersebut, dikembangkan modul ajar berbasis website dengan model pembelajaran Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) yang dirancang untuk meningkatkan pemahaman, motivasi, serta hasil belajar peserta didik. Pengembangan modul menggunakan metode Research and Development dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi tahap analisis, perancangan, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Instrumen pengumpulan data meliputi lembar validasi ahli, lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, serta angket respon peserta didik. Hasil validasi oleh enam validator menunjukkan nilai Aiken’s V sebesar 0,91, yang menandakan modul berada pada kategori sangat valid. Uji coba terbatas melibatkan 38 peserta didik kelas XII, dengan hasil observasi keterlaksanaan mencapai 95%. Respon peserta didik memperoleh persentase 91% dengan kategori sangat baik, mencakup aspek materi, tampilan, kepraktisan, dan manfaat modul. Secara keseluruhan, modul ajar berbasis website dengan model AIR dinyatakan layak, menarik, mudah digunakan, serta efektif dalam mendukung pembelajaran sel elektrolisis pada Kurikulum Merdeka.
