Abstract
This research focuses on optimizing warehouse systems through the integration of the Lean Warehousing and Linear Programming approaches at PT XYZ. The main problem addressed is the high level of waste in the storage and distribution processes of by-products, including motion, inventory, and overprocessing, under limited improvement resources. The research began with identifying waste activities using lean warehousing principles to determine the root causes of inefficiency. Based on the analysis results, 30 alternative improvement proposals were developed and evaluated using a Likert-scale questionnaire based on perceived benefits from expert respondents. A Binary Linear Programming mathematical model was then designed to determine the best combination of improvement alternatives by considering constraints on cost, implementation time, and labor availability. The comparison between the current and improved conditions shows a significant increase in operational efficiency. These results demonstrate that the implementation of Lean Warehousing combined with mathematical optimization not only provides an optimal quantitative solution but also delivers tangible improvements in the efficiency of material and information flow in the final by product warehouse of PT XYZ.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini berfokus pada pengoptimalan sistem pergudangan melalui integrasi pendekatan Lean Warehousing dan Linear Programming di PT XYZ. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi adalah tingginya tingkat pemborosan (waste) dalam proses penyimpanan dan distribusi produk sisa, seperti motion, inventory, dan overprocessing dengan sumber daya perbaikan yang terbatas. Tahapan penelitian diawali dengan identifikasi aktivitas pemborosan menggunakan konsep lean warehousing untuk menemukan akar penyebab pemborosan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, disusun 30 alternatif usulan perbaikan yang dinilai melalui kuesioner skala Likert berdasarkan asumsi manfaat dari responden ahli. Selanjutnya, dilakukan perancangan model matematis Binary Linear Programming untuk menentukan kombinasi usulan terbaik dengan mempertimbangkan batasan biaya, waktu pelaksanaan, dan jumlah operator. Perbandingan antara kondisi awal dan kondisi setelah perbaikan menunjukkan peningkatan efisiensi yang signifikan. Hasil ini membuktikan bahwa penerapan metode Lean Warehousing yang dipadukan dengan optimasi matematis tidak hanya memberikan solusi kuantitatif optimal, tetapi juga menghasilkan perubahan nyata terhadap efisiensi aliran material dan informasi di gudang produk sisa akhir PT XYZ. | |||||||||
