Abstract
Achmad Fachrurijal Baihaqi. 2025. Response of Several Types and Frequencies of Application of Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) on the Growth and Yield of Soybean (Glycine max Merril.). Supervised by Andree Saylendra and Sri Ritawati. The research aimed to determine the effect of several types and application frequencies of Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) on the growth and yield of soybean plants. This research was conducted in Kadupinang Village, Mandalasari Subdistrict, Kaduhejo District, Pandeglang Regency, Banten Province, from June to September 2025. The research used a factorial Randomized Block Design consisting of two factors. The first factor was PGPR type (P) consisting of five levels: without PGPR (control), PGPR from bamboo roots, putri malu roots, alang-alang roots, and elephant grass roots, all applied at a dose of 20 ml/L. The second factor was the frequency of PGPR application (F) consisting of three levels: one application, two applications, and three applications. The observed parameters included plant height, number of leaves, root length, pod weight, number of pods, and 100-seed weight of soybean. The results showed that PGPR type significantly to highly significantly affected plant height, number of leaves, root length, pod weight, number of pods, and 100-seed weight. PGPR derived from bamboo roots produced the best results, with the highest plant height at 10 weeks after planting (78.84 cm), the highest number of leaves, and the longest root length. The frequency of PGPR application had a highly significant effect on pod weight and number of pods, and the interaction between PGPR type and application frequency showed a highly significant effect on pod weight and number of pods. Based on the results, the application of bamboo root PGPR at a dose of 20 ml/L with three application frequencies produced the best growth and yield of soybean plants. Keywords: application requency, growth, PGPR, soybean, yield.

| Additional Information: | Achmad Fachrurijal Baihaqi. 2025. | |||||||||
