Abstract
This study aims to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of an emodule using the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach to support the mathematical literacy skills of junior high school (SMP/MTs) students. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) study employing the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages: 1) Analyze, 2) Design, 3) Development, 4) Implementation, and 5) Evaluation. The instruments used include expert validation (content and media experts), teacher and student response questionnaires, and a mathematical literacy skills test. The e-module validity test was conducted by four experts: two content experts achieved a percentage score of 92% categorized as "Very Valid", and two media experts achieved 89% categorized as "Very Valid". The practicality test, based on teacher and student responses, yielded 89% for teachers categorized as "Very Practical" and 86% for students categorized as "Very Practical". The effectiveness test, derived from pretest and posttest data analysis, resulted in an N-Gain score of 0.63 medium category and a percentage of 63% sufficiently effective. Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that the e-module using the RME approach to support the mathematical literacy skills of SMP/MTs students on the topic of systems of linear equations in two variables is valid, practical, and effective for use as teaching material in Grade VIII at SMPN 1 Pabuaran. | Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan e-modul dengan pendekatan RME untuk mendukung kemampuan literasi matematis siswa SMP/MTs. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan atau Research and Development (RnD). Model pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model ADDIE dengan lima tahapan, yaitu 1) Analyze (Analisis), 2) Design (Perancangan), 3) Development (Pengembangan), Implementation (Implementasi), dan 5) Evaluation (Evaluasi). Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu validasi uji ahli materi, ahli media, respon guru dan respon siswa dan tes kemampuan literasi matematis siswa. Uji kevalidan e-modul dilakukan oleh 4 orang ahli, diantaranya 2 ahli materi materi mendapatkan nilai persentase 92% dengan kategori “Sangat Valid”, dan 2 ahli media mendapatkan nilai persentase 89% dengan kategori “Sangat Valid”. Uji kepraktisan dilakukan oleh respon guru dan respon siswa, respon guru mendapatkan nilai persentase 89% dengan kategori “Sangat Praktis”, dan respon siswa mendapatkan nilai persentase 86% dengan kategori “Sangat Praktis”. Dan uji keefektifan dari pengolahan data pretest dan posttest menghasilkan skor N-Gain yaitu 0,63 dengan kategori sedang dan hasil persentase N-Gain yaitu 63% dengan kategori cukup efektif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa e-modul dengan pendekatan rme untuk mendukung kemampuan literasi matematis siswa SMP/MTs materi sistem persamaan linear dua variabel sudah valid, praktis, efektif untuk digunakan sebagai bahan ajar kelas VIII di SMPN 1 Pabuaran. | |||||||||
