Abstract

This study aims to find out how the professional competence of teachers in implementing thematic learning in schools during the COVID-19 pandemic era was carried out in class III SD Yadika 1 Tegal Alur. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques using interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The results showed that the professional competence of teachers with research aspects of teacher abilities related to various skills and behaviors, intellectual abilities possessed by a teacher, understanding of professional competence and competence and the requirements of professional competence were good and it was seen that teachers had professional competence. On the professional aspect in the application of thematic learning, namely on the aspect of teacher abilities related to various skills and behaviors in the observation points that the researchers have carried out, namely using learning media when teaching, using lesson plans, mastering learning materials, appreciating and motivating students, providing learning evaluations at the end learning. Then the intellectual ability aspect of a teacher seems to be in accordance with the teacher's professional competence, namely at observation points such as entering learning on time, singing the national compulsory anthem and literacy before starting learning, conducting question and answer activities with students, conducting apperception activities, doing ice breaking. at the time of learning. The teacher has carried out activities in learning according to what students need in the implementation of learning that must be done online during this pandemic. The conclusion is that teachers already have professional competence based on references and see from the professional aspect in the application of thematic learning.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kompetensi profesional guru dalam penerapan pelaksanaan pembelajaran tematik di sekolah pada era pandemic covid-19 yang dilakukan di kelas III SD Yadika 1 Tegal Alur. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi profesional guru dengan aspek penelitian kemampuan guru yang berkaitan dengan berbagai keterampilan dan perilaku, kemampuan intelektual yang dimiliki oleh seorang guru, pemahaman kompetensi dan kompetensi profesional dan syarat kompetensi profesional sudah baik dan sudah terlihat bahwa guru memiliki kompetensi profesional. Pada aspek profesional dalam penerapan pembelajaran tematik yaitu pada aspek kemampuan guru yang berkaitan dengan berbagai keterampilan dan perilaku di dalam poin pengamatan yang telah peneliti laksanakan yaitu menggunakan media pembelajaran saat mengajar, menggunakan RPP, menguasai materi pembelajaran, mengapresiasi dan memotivasi siswa, memberikan evaluasi belajar diakhir pembelajaran. Kemudian pada aspek kemampuan intelektual yang dimiliki seorang guru terlihat sudah sesuai dengan kompetensi profesional guru yaitu pada poin pengamatan seperti masuk pembelajaran tepat waktu, menyanyikan lagu wajib nasional dan literasi sebelum dimulai pembelajaran, melakukan kegiatan tanya jawab dengan siswa, melakukan kegiatan apersepsi, melakukan ice breaking pada saat pembelajaran. Guru telah melaksanakan kegiatan-kegiatan dalam pembelajaran sesuai dengan yang dibutuhkan siswa dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang harus dilakukan secara online di masa pandemi ini. Kesimpulannya adalah bahwa guru sudah memiliki kompetensi profesional berdasarkan acuan dan melihat dari aspek profesional dalam penerapan pembelajaran tematik.
