Abstract
This study aims to (a) describe and classify the forms of violations of the principles of politeness in Rocky Gerung's speech in the February 2024 edition of the Presidential Election themed youtube channel and (b) describe and classify the implicatures produced by violations of the principles of politeness in Rocky Gerung's speech in the February 2024 edition of the Presidential Election themed youtube channel. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative method. The data collection techniques used are the listening method with the tapping technique as a basic technique, the free listening technique with conversational involvement as an advanced technique, and the note-taking technique. Furthermore, the data sources in this study are four youtube broadcasts from three youtube channels that present Rocky Gerung as a speaker on the February 2024 edition of the Presidential Election which are then transcribed into written form. The data analysis technique in this study uses the pragmatic equivalent method with the basic technique of separating determining elements (PUP) and advanced techniques in the form of contextual analysis. This study obtained findings in the form of utterances that violate the principles of politeness as many as 45 data detailed as follows: (1) violations of the maxim of wisdom as many as 7 data; violations of the maxim of generosity as many as 7 data; violations of the maxim of appreciation as many as 5 data; violations of the maxim of simplicity as many as 2 data; and violations of the maxim of agreement as many as 24 data. The findings of the implicatures resulting from violations of the principles of politeness in Rocky Gerung's speech in the February 2024 edition of the Presidential Election themed youtube are as follows: (1) conventional implicatures as many as 42 data and (2) non-conventional implicatures as many as 3 data.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (a) mendeskripsikan dan mengklasifikasikan bentuk pelanggaran prinsip kesantunan berbahasa pada tuturan Rocky Gerung dalam youtube bertema Pilpres edisi Februari 2024 dan (b) mendeskripsikan dan mengklasifikasikan implikatur yang dihasilkan oleh pelanggaran prinsip kesantunan berbahasa pada tuturan Rocky Gerung dalam youtube bertema Pilpres edisi Februari 2024. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode simak dengan teknik sadap sebagai teknik dasar, teknik Simak Bebas Libat Cakap sebagai teknik lanjutan, dan teknik catat. Selanjutnya, sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah empat tayangan youtube dari tiga kanal youtube yang menghadirkan Rocky Gerung sebagai pembicara bertema Pilpres edisi Februari 2024 yang kemudian ditranskripsikan ke dalam bentuk tulisan. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode padan pragmatis dengan teknik dasar Pilah Unsur Penentu (PUP) dan teknik lanjutan berupa analisis kontekstual. Penelitian ini memperoleh temuan berupa tuturan yang melanggar prinsip kesantunan sebanyak 45 data yang diperinci sebagai berikut: (1) pelanggaran maksim kebijaksanaan sebanyak 7 data; pelanggaran maksim kedermawanan sebanyak 7 data; pelanggaran maksim penghargaan sebanyak 5 data; pelanggaran maksim kesederhanaan sebanyak 2 data; dan pelanggaran maksim kemufakatan sebanyak 24 data. Adapun temuan implikatur yang dihasilkan oleh pelanggaran prinsip kesantunan berbahasa pada tuturan Rocky Gerung dalam youtube bertema Pilpres edisi Februari 2024 adalah sebagai berikut: (1) implikatur konvensional sebanyak 42 data dan (2) implikatur nonkonvensional sebanyak 3 data | |||||||||
