Abstract
This study aims to describe the forms of speech disorders in the form of pauses and slips of the tongue that appear in interview interactions between teachers and tenth-grade students of SMAN 25 Kabupaten Tangerang. The study was conducted to understand how these disorders emerge as well as the psycholinguistic factors underlying them. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques in the form of the observation method. This method is complemented by the participant observation technique so that the researcher can directly observe the utterances produced during the interview process. In addition, note-taking and recording techniques were used to ensure that the data obtained were accurate and could be analyzed in depth. The data analysis was carried out using the extralingual equivalent method with the determinant element sorting technique (PUP) to categorize the types of speech disorders, as well as the comparative differentiating technique (HBB) to identify the distinguishing characteristics of each form. The results of the study show that there are 127 instances of speech disorders. Of this number, 15 are silent pauses, namely pauses without sound that occur when the speaker briefly stops to plan the next utterance. Filled pauses constitute the largest category with 97 instances, marked by sounds such as “ee” or other hesitation markers. In addition, 11 instances of assembling-type slips of the tongue were found, which are errors of merging or switching sounds due to imbalance in the articulation process. Lastly, there are 4 instances of Freudian slips that are related to emotional pressure or unintentional word selection. From a psycholinguistic perspective, these speech disorders emerge due to psychological and affective factors such as nervousness, anxiety, lack of confidence, and cognitive load. These factors influence the smoothness of mental processes in planning and producing utterances, resulting in pauses, repetitions, or articulation errors. Thus, this study emphasizes that speech disorders are not only related to linguistic aspects but are also closely connected to the speaker’s mental condition during communication.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk gangguan wicara berupa senyapan dan kilir lidah yang muncul dalam interaksi wawancara antara guru dan siswa kelas X SMAN 25 Kabupaten Tangerang. Penelitian dilakukan untuk memahami bagaimana gangguan tersebut muncul serta faktor psikolinguistik yang melatarbelakanginya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa metode simak. Teknik ini dilengkapi dengan simak libat cakap agar peneliti dapat mengamati tuturan secara langsung dalam proses wawancara. Selain itu, teknik catat dan rekam digunakan untuk memastikan data yang diperoleh akurat dan dapat dianalisis secara mendalam. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan metode padan ekstralingual dengan teknik Pilah Unsur Penentu (PUP) untuk mengelompokkan jenis gangguan wicara, serta teknik Hubung Banding Membedakan (HBB) untuk melihat perbedaan karakteristik tiap bentuknya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 127 data gangguan wicara. Dari jumlah tersebut, 15 merupakan senyapan diam, yaitu jeda tanpa suara yang muncul ketika penutur berhenti sejenak untuk merencanakan ujaran. Senyapan terisi menjadi jenis paling banyak dengan 97 data, ditandai bunyi "ee" atau bentuk jeda lain yang menunjukkan keragu-raguan. Selain itu, ditemukan 11 kilir lidah bentuk assembling, yaitu kesalahan penggabungan atau pertukaran bunyi akibat ketidakseimbangan proses artikulasi. Terakhir, terdapat 4 kilir lidah bentuk freudian slips yang berkaitan dengan tekanan emosi atau ketidaksengajaan dalam pemilihan kata. Dari perspektif psikolinguistik, gangguan wicara tersebut muncul karena adanya faktor psikologis dan afektif seperti rasa gugup, kecemasan, kurang percaya diri, dan tekanan kognitif. Faktor-faktor ini memengaruhi kelancaran proses mental dalam merencanakan dan memproduksi ujaran sehingga menyebabkan jeda, pengulangan, atau kesalahan artikulasi. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa gangguan wicara tidak hanya berkaitan dengan aspek linguistik, tetapi juga erat dengan kondisi mental penutur selama berkomunikasi. | |||||||||
