Abstract

This study aims to (a) describe the performance of vowel sounds and consonants of speech of children with disabilities in SKh Sofiana Arrauf Pandeglang Regency based on a phonological review and (b) describe the performance of speech affixation of speech of children with disabilities in SKh Sofiana Arrauf based on a morphological review. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative method. The data collection techniques used are the observation method with the tapping technique as a basic technique, the skill engagement technique as an advanced technique, the fishing technique, the recording technique, and the recording technique. Furthermore, the data source in this study was the speech of two children with moderate and mild disabilities who were then transcribed into written form. The data analysis technique in this study uses a matching method with the basic technique of separating determinants (PUP). Based on the results of observations on the speech of two visually impaired children, it was found that there were speeches that contained vowel and consonant sound distortions and affixation deviations as many as 81 data with the following details: (1) elimination (elipsation) of vowel phonemes as many as 10 data; (2) the substitution of vowel phonemes as many as 5 data; (3) the addition (addition) of vowel phonemes by 1 data; (4) the elimination (eellision) of consonant phonemes as many as 42 data; (5) the substitution of consonant phonemes as many as 15 data; and (6) the addition (addition) of consonant phonemes as many as 3 data. Furthermore, data on morphological deviations of affixation were found in 32 data, namely: (1) elimination (ellipsation) of prefixes as many as 13 data; (2) the replacement of the prefix as many as 3 data; (3) the elimination (elipsization) of the 7 data fixes; (4) substitution of 5 data; (5) reduction of the confix by 1 data; (6) removal (elipsation) of suffixes as many as 3 data; (7) substitution of suffixes as many as 2 data; and (8) the addition (addition) of suffixes as many as 5 data.

Selanjutnya, data penyimpangan morfologis afiksasi ditermukan sebanysk 32 data, yaitu: (1) penghilangan (elipsasi) prefiks sebanyak 13 data; (2) pergantian (substitusi) prefiks sebanyak 3 data; (3) penghilangan (elipsasi) konfiks sebanyak 7 data; (4) pergantian (substitusi) konfiks sebanyak 5 data; (5) penyerdehanaan (reduksi) konfiks sebanyak 1 data; (6) penghilangan (elipsasi) sufiks sebanyak 3 data; (7) pergantian (substitusi) sufiks sebanyak 2 data; dan (8) penambahan (adisi) sufiks sebanyak 5 data.
