Abstract
Foreign Direct Investment, Political Stability, Government Effectiveness, Pertumbuhan Ekonomi, ASEAN-6.

| Additional Information: | Economic growth is a key indicator in measuring the success of a country's development. In the ASEAN region, economic dynamics are influenced not only by internal factors such as investment, but also by the quality of institutional governance. This study aims to analyze the influence of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and institutional quality indicators, represented by political stability and government effectiveness, on economic growth in six ASEAN countries (Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and Brunei). The research employs panel data regression analysis and uses the Random Effect Model (REM) as the best-fit model based on the Hausman test. The study utilizes annual secondary data obtained from the World Bank for the period of 2017–2023. The dependent variable is GDP growth, while the independent variables include FDI, political stability, and government effectiveness. The results indicate that FDI and government effectiveness have a positive and significant effect on economic growth when analyzed partially. In contrast, political stability does not show a statistically significant effect. However, when tested simultaneously, all three variables have a significant joint effect on economic growth, indicating the importance of integrating economic and institutional factors in driving regional development. These findings imply that improving government effectiveness and implementing pro-investment policies are crucial to achieving sustainable and inclusive economic growth in the ASEAN region.Foreign Direct Investment, Political Stability, Government Effectiveness, Economic Growth, ASEAN-6 | |||||||||
