Abstract
This study aims to examine the implementation of reasonable accommodations for students with special needs at SMP Negeri 32 Kota Tangerang. The background of this research is based on the importance of ensuring equal educational rights for all students, including those with special needs, at the junior high school level. This research employs a qualitative approach, using data collection techniques such as observation, in-depth interviews with the principal, special education teacher, homeroom teacher, subject teachers, students with special needs, and documentation. Data validity is ensured through triangulation, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that the school has implemented reasonable accommodations effectively. Funding from the BOSDA Inklusi program is used to provide facilities such as ramps, guiding blocks, accessible toilets, wheelchairs, and learning aids. The same fund also supports the salaries of special education and vocational teachers. Identification and assessment processes are carried out regularly, and the curriculum is adapted to meet the needs of each student. The school also provides regular training for educators and staff. Support from the Tangerang City Government, the Difabel Mandiri Indonesia Foundation, and USAID Madani strengthens the implementation through ongoing assistance and monitoring. Positive impacts are seen in students' social development, participation, and academic progress, indicating greater inclusion within the school environment.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi akomodasi yang layak bagi Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus (ABK) di SMP Negeri 32 Kota Tangerang. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah pentingnya pemenuhan hak pendidikan yang setara bagi semua peserta didik, termasuk ABK di tingkat sekolah menengah pertama. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam dengan kepala sekolah, guru pendamping khusus, wali kelas, guru mata pelajaran, ABK, serta dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan teknik triangulasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sekolah telah mengimplementasikan akomodasi layak secara cukup optimal. Dana BOSDA Inklusi digunakan untuk pengadaan sarana prasarana seperti bidang miring, guiding block, toilet disabilitas, kursi roda, serta alat bantu belajar. Dana tersebut juga digunakan untuk membayar guru pendamping khusus dan guru keterampilan. Proses asesmen dan identifikasi dilakukan secara berkala, serta kurikulum disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan individual siswa. Sekolah rutin mengadakan pelatihan bagi pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan. Dukungan dari Pemerintah Kota Tangerang, Yayasan Difabel Mandiri Indonesia, dan USAID Madani turut memperkuat pelaksanaan melalui pendampingan dan monitoring. Dampak positif terlihat dari peningkatan aspek sosial, partisipasi, dan akademik ABK di lingkungan sekolah. | |||||||||
