Abstract
Environmental damage still frequently occurs to this day. One example is illegal forest burning, which leads to a decrease in plant populations and even threatens the extinction of several species. This phenomenon is generally caused by irresponsible human actions driven by personal interests. Efforts to prevent environmental damage can be made through environmental education. Education plays an important role in increasing human knowledge and awareness of the importance of preserving the environment. In schools, environmental education can be integrated through learning activities, one of which is outdoor learning. This study aims to describe outdoor learning activities in elementary schools as an effort to assess students' ecological literacy levels. This research uses a qualitative method to gain an in-depth understanding of outdoor learning activities at Sekolah Alam Tangerang Mekar Bakti. Outdoor learning activities are considered highly suitable for implementation in schools, as they can increase students' environmental awareness from an early age.

| Additional Information: | Kerusakan lingkungan masih sering terjadi hingga saat ini. Salah satu contohnya adalah pembakaran hutan secara liar yang menyebabkan berkurangnya populasi tumbuhan, bahkan mengancam kepunahan beberapa spesies. Peristiwa ini umumnya disebabkan oleh ulah manusia yang tidak bertanggung jawab dan hanya mementingkan kepentingan pribadi. Upaya untuk mencegah kerusakan lingkungan dapat dilakukan melalui pendidikan lingkungan. Pendidikan berperan penting dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran manusia akan pentingnya menjaga kelestarian lingkungan. Di lingkungan sekolah, pendidikan lingkungan dapat diintegrasikan melalui kegiatan pembelajaran, salah satunya adalah outdoor learning. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kegiatan outdoor learning di sekolah dasar sebagai upaya untuk mengetahui tingkat literasi ekologi peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif untuk memperoleh gambaran yang mendalam mengenai kegiatan outdoor learning di Sekolah Alam Tangerang Mekar Bakti. Kegiatan outdoor learning dinilai sangat cocok diterapkan di sekolah karena dapat meningkatkan kesadaran lingkungan peserta didik sejak dini. | |||||||||
