Abstract
Guidance and Counseling Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University. This study aims to determine the relationship between self-concept and academic achievement at SMA Negeri 2 Rangkasbitung. The population in this study was class XI, totaling 393 students. The sampling technique used simple random sampling, which resulted in a sample of 198 students. Self-concept data was obtained from the TSCS-2 questionnaire, and academic achievement data was obtained from the average report card scores for the odd semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. The analysis results showed a correlation of 0.156 between self-concept and student academic achievement, and a Significance level of < 0.05, which was 0.028. This result indicates that there is a correlation between self-concept and student academic achievement, although the contribution is very weak at 2.4%. Therefore, other factors influence student academic achievement, such as motivation, interest, talent, and support from family, school environment, and community environment.. | Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan konsep diri terhadap prestasi akademik di SMA Negeri 2 Rangkasbitung. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu kelas XI yang berjumlah 393 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik simple random sampling yang menghasilkan sampel sebanyak 198 siswa. Data konsep diri didapatkan dari kuisoner TSCS-2 dan prestasi akademik didapatkan melalui rata-rata raport semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya korelasi sebesar 0,156 antara konsep diri dengan prestasi akademik siswa, dan tingkat Signifikansi < 0,05 yaitu sebesar 0,028. Hasil ini mengindikasikan bahwa terdapat korelasi antara konsep diri dengan prestasi akademik siswa meskipun kontribusinya sangat lemah dengan nilai 2,4%, sehingga terdapat faktor lain yang mempengaruhi prestasi akademik siswa seperti motivasi, minat, bakat, dan dukungan dari keluarga, lingkungan sekolah, dan lingkungan masyarakat.
