Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of work life balance (X) on employee performance (Y) through organizational commitment (Z) as an intervening variable at the UPT Puskesmas Cinangka. The research method used quantitative research. The population and the saturated sample in this research are 56 employees. The data collection techniques are through interviews, observations, literature review, and distribution of questionnaires. The data analysis technique in this research used Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) using the SmartPLS 4 software. The results of the research indicate that: (1) Work life balance has a positive but insignificant effect on employee performance; (2) Work life balance has a significant positive effect on organizational commitment; (3) Organizational commitment has a significant positive effect on employee performance; (4) Organizational commitment can mediate the relationship between work-life balance and employee performance.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh work life balance (X) terhadap kinerja pegawai (Y) melalui komitmen organisasi (Z) sebagai variabel intervening pada UPT Puskesmas Cinangka. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi dan sample jenuh dalam penelitian ini adalah 56 pegawai. Teknik pengumpulan datanya adalah melalui wawancara, observasi, studi Pustaka, dan penyebaran kuesioner. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) dengan menggunakan software SmartPLS 4. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Work life balance berpengaruh positif tidak signifikan terhhadap kinerja pegawai; (2) Work life balance berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasi; (3) Komitmen organisasi berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai; (4) Komitmen organisasi mampu memediasi hubungan work life balance dengan kinerja pegawai.
