Abstract
This study aims to empirically test and analyze the results of how much influence there is between the variables of Preventive Discipline (X), Job Satisfaction (Z1), Organizational Commitment (Z2) and Employee Performance (Y) and to test and analyze whether there is a mediating effect of Job Satisfaction (Z1) and Organizational Commitment (Z2) on the relationship between Preventive Discipline (X) and Employee Performance (Y) at the Banten Province KPU. The population in this study was all employees of the Banten Province General Elections Commission (KPU), with a sample size of 46 respondents using a saturated sampling technique. The research method used was quantitative with a descriptive approach. Data collection was based on literature studies, interviews, observations, and questionnaires. The data analysis method used was structural equation modeling (SEM) with the SmartPLS 4.0 analysis tool. The results obtained from this study are that preventive discipline (X) has a positive and significant effect on employee performance (Y). Preventive discipline (X) has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction (Z1). Job satisfaction (Z1) has a positive and significant effect on employee performance (Y). Preventive discipline (X) has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment (Z2). Organizational commitment (Z2) has a positive and significant effect on employee performance (Y). Job satisfaction (Z1) can mediate the relationship between preventive discipline (X) and employee performance (Y). | Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis hasil secara empiris bahwa seberapa besar pengaruh antara variabel Disiplin preventif (X), Kepuasan kerja(Z1), Komitmen organisasi (Z2) dan Kinerja pegawai (Y) serta untuk menguji dan menganalisis bahwa apabila terdapat efek mediasi Kepuasan kerja (Z1) dan Komitmen organisasi (Z2) pada hubungan Disiplin preventif (X) terhadap Kinerja pegawai (Y) pada KPU Provinsi Banten. Populasi dalam penelitian ini merupakan seluruh pegawai KPU Provinsi Banten dengan sampel yang digunakan yaitu sebanyak 46 responden dengan menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan pengumpulan data berdasarkan studi literatur, wawancara, observasi dan kuesioner. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah structural equation modelling (SEM) dengan alat analisis SmartPLS 4.0. Hasil yang didapatlkan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa Disiplin preventif (X) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja pegawai (Y).
