Abstract
This research aims to examine and prove the effect of liquidity on firm value with capital structure as an intervening variable and profitability as a moderating variable in retail trade sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2014–2023 period. The data used in this research is secondary data, sourced from the Indonesia Stock Exchange, Yahoo Finance, and the official websites of each company. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, resulting in a sample of 10 companies with a total of 100 observation data points. The statistical testing tool used is IBM SPSS version 30 with Conditional Process Analysis version 5.0. The results of the study show that: (1) Liquidity has a positive and significant effect on firm value. (2) Liquidity has a negative and significant effect on capital structure. (3) Capital structure has a positive and significant effect on firm value. (4) Capital structure is able to mediate the relationship between liquidity and firm value negatively and significantly. (5) Profitability moderates the effect of the relationship between capital structure and firm value, with the moderating effect being positive and significant. (6) Profitability is able to moderate the mediating effect of Capital Structure on the relationship between Liquidity and Firm Value, with the moderating effect being negative and significant.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan membuktikan pengaruh likuiditas terhadap nilai perusahaan dengan struktur modal sebagai variabel intervening dan profitabilitas sebagai variabel moderasi pada perusahaan sektor perdagangan ritel yang terdaftar di bursa efek indonesia periode 2014 – 2023. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder dan sumber data dalam penelitian ini berasal dari Bursa Efek indonesia, Finance Yahoo dan Website resmi setiap perusahaan. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling diperoleh sebanyak 10 perusahaan yang dapat dijadikan sampel dengan data observasi sebanyak 100 data. Alat yang digunakan dalam penujian statistik data yaitu IBM SPSS versi 30 dengan Conditional Process Analysis versi 5.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Likuiditas berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan. (2) Likuiditas berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap struktur modal. (3) Struktur modal berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan. (4) Struktur modal mampu memediasi secara negatif dan signifikan pada hubungan likuiditas terhadap nilai perusahaan. (5) Profitabilitas memoderasi pengaruh hubungan struktur modal dengan nilai perusahaan, efek moderasi yang diberikannya positif dan signifikan. (6) Profitabilitas mampu memoderasi pengaruh mediasi Struktur Modal pada hubungan Likuiditas terhadap Nilai Perusahaan, efek moderasi yang diberikannya negatif dan signifikan. | |||||||||
