Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether or not there was an influence of the Ludo bullying game media on the understanding of bullying with a sample of class VII students of SMPN 13 Kota Serang. The method used in this study was a quantitative research method using a pre-experimental approach with a One Group Pre-Test Post-Test research design. The scale used to determine the results of the pre-test and post-test instruments for understanding bullying was the Guttman scale. The results of the pre-test conducted on 184 students showed that there were 8 students who were included in the low understanding of bullying. Students who were included in the low understanding of bullying would be given treatment using the Ludo bullying game media. Hypothesis testing used the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test with the results of the Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.012 which was based on the hypothesis-making process if the Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) value <0.05 then the hypothesis was accepted, so it can be stated that the provision of treatment using the Ludo bullying game media has proven to have an effect on understanding bullying.

Additional Information: Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui apakah media permainan ludo bullying berpengaruh terhadap pemahaman bullying dengan sampel penelitian yaitu peserta didik kelas VII di SMPN 13 Kota Serang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan pra-eksperimen (pre-experimental) dengan desain penelitian One Group Pre-Test Post-Test. Skala yang digunakan untuk mengetahui hasil pre-test serta post-test dari sebuah instrumen pemahaman bullying yaitu skala guttman. Hasil dari pre-test yang dilakukan kepada 184 peserta didik menunjukkan terdapat 8 peserta didik yang termasuk pada pemahaman bullying rendah. Peserta didik yang memasuki pemahaman bullying rendah akan diberikan treatment dengan menggunakan media permainan ludo bullying. Uji hipotesis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test dengan hasil nilai Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0.012 yang dimana berdasarkan proses pengambilan keputusan hipotesis apabila nilai Asymp. Sig. (2 tailed) < 0.05 maka hipotesis diterima, sehingga dapat dinyatakan bahwa pemberian treatment menggunakan media permainan ludo bullying terbukti berpengaruh terhadap pemahaman bullying.
