Abstract
This study aims to analyze the influence of Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB), learning agility, and institutional synergy on teachers’ work commitment, with the effectiveness of the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum as a mediating variable. The background of this research arises from the growing number of Islamic-based schools adopting the IB curriculum, which demands a balance between Islamic values and global educational standards. The research employed a quantitative descriptive–verificative approach involving teachers from three Islamic schools located in Tangerang, Jakarta, and Solo. The findings indicate that learning agility and institutional synergy have a positive effect on both the effectiveness of the IB curriculum and teachers’ work commitment, while OCB does not show a significant effect on curriculum effectiveness. The effectiveness of the IB curriculum serves as a key mediating variable, linking learning agility and institutional synergy to teachers’ work commitment. These findings highlight that the success of a global curriculum implementation relies on adaptive learning capacities and institutional cohesion in managing educational transformation. This study underscores that strengthening learning agility and institutional synergy forms the essential foundation for enhancing teachers’ work commitment in Islamic-based schools with international orientations. Theoretically, it extends understanding of the psychological and organizational mechanisms that underpin global curriculum effectiveness. Practically, it provides strategic guidance for Islamic schools in Indonesia to harmonize global professionalism with Islamic educational values—a synthesis that not only reaffirms the identity of Islamic education but also elevates its competitiveness on the global stage.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB), kemampuan adaptif dalam pembelajaran (learning agility), dan sinergitas kelembagaan terhadap komitmen kerja guru, dengan efektivitas kurikulum International Baccalaureate (IB) sebagai variabel mediasi. Latar belakang penelitian ini berangkat dari meningkatnya jumlah sekolah berbasis Islam yang mengadopsi kurikulum IB, yang menuntut keseimbangan antara nilainilai keislaman dengan standar global pendidikan modern. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif-verifikatif dengan responden guru dari tiga sekolah Islam di Tangerang, Jakarta, dan Solo. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa learning agility dan sinergitas berpengaruh positif terhadap efektivitas implementasi kurikulum IB dan komitmen kerja guru, sedangkan OCB tidak menunjukkan pengaruh signifikan terhadap efektivitas kurikulum IB. Efektivitas kurikulum IB berperan sebagai mediator penting dalam menjembatani pengaruh learning agility dan sinergitas terhadap komitmen kerja guru, menandakan bahwa keberhasilan kurikulum global bergantung pada ketangkasan belajar dan kekompakan organisasi dalam mengelola perubahan. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa penguatan learning agility dan sinergitas kelembagaan menjadi fondasi utama dalam membangun komitmen kerja guru di sekolah berbasis Islam yang berorientasi internasional. Secara teoretis, penelitian ini memperluas pemahaman tentang mekanisme psikologis dan kelembagaan yang menopang efektivitas kurikulum global. Secara praktis, hasilnya memberi arah baru bagi sekolah Islam di Indonesia untuk memadukan profesionalisme global dengan nilai-nilai keislaman sebuah harmoni yang bukan hanya meneguhkan identitas pendidikan Islam, tetapi juga mengukuhkan daya saingnya di tingkat dunia. | |||||||||
