Abstract

Based on the analysis of a problem in the background, a learning video media was developed with the theme of my polluted environment as a solution to foster creative thinking skills of junior high school students. The purpose of this study was to obtain data and describe the level of validity of learning video media to foster creative thinking skills of junior high school students on the theme of my polluted environment. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) research method and its research model, namely research and development based on the model from Thiagarajan (1974), namely 4D. 4D which is modified according to research needs is limited from the definition stage (Define), Design (Design), to development (Development). The expert validation sheet is an instrument used by researchers for validity testing, which is assessed by material experts, media and practitioners. The validation results based on material expert validation were 88.40%, with the category "Very Valid", the percentage value of media experts was 81.67% with the category "Very Valid" and the percentage value of practitioners was 93.33% with the criteria "Very Valid". Based on expert assessments, video learning media is very valid for developing creative thinking skills in junior high school students. Additional Information: Didasarkan pada analisis sebuah masalah yang terdapat pada latar belakang dikembangkanlah sebuah media video pembelajaran dengan tema lingkunganku tercemar untuk solusi dalam menumbuhkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa SMP. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yakni mendapatkan sebuah data dan mendeskripsikan tingkat validitas media video pembelajaran untuk menumbuhkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa SMP pada tema lingkunganku tercemar. Penelitian ini mengguanakan metode penelitian Research and Development (R&D) dan model penelitiannya yakni penelitian dan pengembangan yang berpatokan pada model dari Thiagarajan (1974) yakni 4D. 4D yang dimodifikasi sesuai dengan kebutuhan penelitian yakni dibatasi dari tahap pendefinisian (Define), Perancangan (Design), sampai pengembangan (Development). Lembar validasi ahli yakni instrument yang digunakan oleh peneliti untuk uji validitas, yang dinilai oleh ahli materi, media dan praktisi. Hasil validasi berdasarkan validasi ahli materi sebesar 88,40 %, dengan kategori “Sangat Valid”, nilai presentase ahli media sebesar 81,67 % dengan kategori “Sangat Valid” dan nilai presentase praktisi yakni 93,33% dengan kriteria “Sangat Valid”. Didasarkan pada penilaian ahli media video pembelajaran sangat valid untuk menumbuhkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa SMP.
