Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of job training on employee performance, the effect of work-life balance on employee performance, the effect of job training on job satisfaction, the effect of work-life balance on job satisfaction, the effect of job satisfaction on employee performance, as well as to determine whether job satisfaction can mediate the relationship between job training and work-life balance on employee performance. The research method used in this study is quantitative research with a descriptive approach. Data collection methods were carried out through observation, interviews, literature review, and the distribution of questionnaires. The population in this study consists of all employees at the BKPSDM Office of Tangerang Regency, with a sample of 71 respondents. The sampling technique applied was a saturated sampling method. The sampling technique used in this study was saturated sampling. The instrument test was conducted on 30 non-respondents through validity and reliability tests using IBM SPSS Statistics with Spearman rank correlation. The analysis technique used was Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) with Smart PLS 4.0. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Job Training has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance, (2) Work-Life Balance has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance, (3) Job Training has a positive and significant effect on Job Satisfaction, (4) Work-Life Balance has a positive and significant effect on Job Satisfaction, (5) Job Satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance, (6) Job Satisfaction is able to mediate the relationship between Job Training and Employee Performance, and (7) Job Satisfaction is able to mediate the relationship between Work-Life Balance and Employee Performance.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai, pengaruh work life balance terhadap kinerja pegawai, pengaruh pelatihan kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja, pengaruh work life balance terhadap kepuasan kerja, pengaruh kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai, serta untuk mengetahui apakah kepuasan kerja dapat memediasi hubungan antara pelatihan kerja dan work life balance terhadap kinerja pegawai. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Metode pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini diambil melalui observasi, wawancara, studi pustaka dan penyebaran kuesioner. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh pegawai pada Kantor Dinas BKPSDM Kabupaten Tangerang dan sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 71 responden. Teknik sampling yang digunakan yaitu sampel jenuh. Uji instrumen pada penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap 30 non-responden melalui uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas menggunakan IBM Statistics SPSS dengan menggunakan korelasi rank sperman. Teknik Analisis yang digunakan adalah Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) dengan menggunakan Smart PLS 4.0. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa: (1) Pelatihan Kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Pegawai (2) Work Life Balance berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Pegawai (3) Pelatihan Kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kepuasan Kerja (4) Work Life Balance berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kepuasan Kerja (5) Kepuasan Kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Pegawai (6) Kepuasan Kerja mampu memediasi hubungan antara Pelatihan Kerja terhadap Kinerja Pegawai (7) Kepuasan Kerja mampu memediasi hubungan antara Work Life Balance terhadap Kinerja Pegawai.
