Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Total Quality Management (TQM) on organizational performance, with Green Innovation as a mediating variable in food and beverage manufacturing companies located in Tangerang City and Regency. The study involved 60 respondents, consisting of middle-level managers and supervisors from four companies within the sector. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. This is a quantitative study that utilizes primary data collected through the distribution of questionnaires. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Squares (PLS) with the assistance of SmartPLS 4.0 software. The results of the study indicate that TQM has a positive and significant effect on both organizational performance and Green Innovation. Furthermore, Green Innovation also has a positive and significant effect on organizational performance and is able to partially mediate the relationship between TQM and organizational performance. Suggestions for future research include expanding the scope of the study to other industrial sectors and considering additional variables such as environmental performance, organizational culture, or technological capability to obtain more comprehensive results.

Additional Information: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh Total Quality Management (TQM) terhadap kinerja organisasi dengan Green Innovation sebagai variabel mediasi pada perusahaan manufaktur sector industry makanan dan minuman di Kota dan Kabupaten Tangerang. Penelitian ini melibatkan 60 responden yang terdiri dari manajer tingkat menengah dan supervisor dari empat perusahaan di sektor tersebut. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang menggunakan data primer yang diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner. Data dianalisis menggunakan metode Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) berbasis Partial Least Square (PLS) dengan bantuan software SmartPLS 4.0. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa TQM berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja organisasi dan Green Innovation. Selain itu, Green Innovation berpengaruh positif dan signifikkan terhadap kinerja organisasi, serta mampu memediasi hubungan TQM dan Kinerja Organisasi. Saran untuk penelitian selanjutnya adalah memperluas cakupan objek penelitian ke sector industri lainnya, serta mempertimbangkan penambahan variabel lain, seperti environmental performance, organizational culture, atau technological capability, untuk mendapatkan hasil yang lebih komprehensif.
