Abstract
This study aims to develop a learning medium in the form of a STEM-PjBL based E-Worksheet by utilizing the purple trumpet flower (Ruellia tuberosa) as a borax indicator in acid–base material. The background of this research lies in students’ low understanding of acid–base concepts in daily life and the limited availability of interactive learning media that can actively engage students in accordance with the demands of the Merdeka Curriculum. The research method employed was Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model, consisting of the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research participants were 31 students of grade XI Phase F at MAN 1 Kota Serang, along with 5 material expert validators and 5 media expert validators. The research instruments included expert validation sheets, student response questionnaires, and STEM-PjBL based practicum observation sheets. Data were analyzed using Aiken’s validity test and a Likert scale. The results showed that the developed E-Worksheet obtained expert validation scores in the “very valid” category, making it suitable for use in learning. The limited trial also demonstrated student responses in the “very good” category in terms of material presentation, product design, language, product benefits, and the integration of STEM-PjBL syntax. These findings indicate that the STEM-PjBL-based E-Worksheet utilizing purple trumpet flower can serve as an innovative learning medium alternative that not only enhances students’ conceptual understanding of acids and bases but also provides contextual learning experiences through simple practical activities to detect borax.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berupa E-LKPD berbasis STEM-PjBL dengan memanfaatkan bunga terompet ungu (Ruellia tuberosa) sebagai indikator boraks pada materi asam basa. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah masih rendahnya pemahaman peserta didik terhadap konsep asam basa dalam kehidupan sehari-hari serta minimnya media pembelajaran interaktif yang dapat memfasilitasi keterlibatan siswa secara aktif sesuai dengan tuntutan Kurikulum Merdeka. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi tahap Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Partisipan penelitian terdiri dari 31 peserta didik kelas XI Fase F di MAN 1 Kota Serang, serta 5 validator ahli materi dan 5 validator ahli media. Instrumen penelitian meliputi lembar validasi ahli, angket respon peserta didik, serta lembar observasi praktikum berbasis STEM-PjBL. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji validitas Aiken’s dan skala Likert. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa E-LKPD yang dikembangkan memperoleh nilai validasi ahli materi dan media dengan kategori “sangat valid” sehingga layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Uji coba terbatas juga menunjukkan respon peserta didik dengan kategori “sangat baik” pada aspek penyajian materi, desain produk, kebahasaan, manfaat produk, serta keterpaduan sintak STEM-PjBL. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa E-LKPD berbasis STEM-PjBL dengan pemanfaatan bunga terompet ungu dapat menjadi alternatif media pembelajaran inovatif yang mampu meningkatkan pemahaman konsep asam basa sekaligus memberikan pengalaman belajar kontekstual melalui praktikum sederhana mendeteksi boraks. | |||||||||
