Abstract
This study aims to investigate the implementation of the StoryWeaver digital platform, its improvement on students' reading comprehension and vocabulary mastery, and students' responses to its use. This study was conducted at SMAN 10 Pandeglang involving 37 eleventh grade students, using the Kemmis and Taggart (1998) classroom action research model, which was implemented in two cycles. Data were collected through pre-test, post-test, observation, and close ended questionnaires, and analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The implementation of StoryWeaver showed active participation from students. In Cycle I, some students had difficulties because they were not yet familiar with the platform. However, in Cycle II, students began to get used to it, showed active involvement, and participated in discussions and reading activities. The mean reading comprehension score improved from 45.04 (pre-test) to 63.15 (Cycle I), and 89.73 (Cycle II). Meanwhile, vocabulary mastery improved from 43.91 (pre-test) to 76.43 (Cycle I), and 87.02 (Cycle II). Students' responses to the use of StoryWeaver were also got positive responses. As many as 81% of students stated that the platform helped improve reading comprehension and vocabulary mastery and they felt that StoryWeaver made reading more interesting and enjoyable. In conclusion, StoryWeaver has proven to be effective in improving students' reading and vocabulary skills and improve student participation in the learning process.

Data dikumpulkan melalui pre-test, post-test, observasi, dan kuesioner tertutup, dan dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Implementasi StoryWeaver menunjukkan partisipasi aktif dari siswa. Pada Siklus I, beberapa siswa mengalami kesulitan karena belum terbiasa dengan platform tersebut. Namun, pada Siklus II, siswa mulai terbiasa, menunjukkan keterlibatan aktif, dan berpartisipasi dalam diskusi dan kegiatan membaca. Rata-rata skor pemahaman bacaan meningkat dari 45.04 (pre-test) menjadi 63.15 (Siklus I), dan 89.73 (Siklus II). Sementara itu, penguasaan kosakata meningkat dari 43.91 (pre-test) menjadi 76.43 (Siklus 1), dan 87.02 (Siklus II). Tanggapan siswa terhadap penggunaan StoryWeaver juga mendapat respon positif. Sebanyak 81% siswa menyatakan bahwa platform ini membantu meningkatkan pemahaman membaca dan penguasaan kosakata dan mereka merasa bahwa StoryWeaver membuat kegiatan membaca menjadi lebih menarik dan menyenangkan. Kesimpulannya, StoryWeaver terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca dan kosakata siswa serta meningkatkan partisipasi siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. | |||||||||
