Abstract
Vocational High Schools (SMK), especially in Banten Province, must continue to improve in order to prepare and encourage Human Resources (HR) to be able and ready to compete in achieving and realizing educational goals well. The government continues to strive to improve the quality of education, one of which is to prepare SMK BLUD which does not yet exist in Banten Province. SMK BLUD is a SMK that provides services in the form of goods or services with SMK students being able to implement their competencies based on their expertise in the community environment. The purpose of this study is to measure the level of readiness of SMK BLUD and describe the fulfillment of BLUD requirements. The type of research used in this study is descriptive research with a mixed research approach (mix method) and embedded concurrent research design. Data collection techniques use closed questionnaires and unstructured interviews. The data analysis technique used is descriptive quantitative percentage data analysis. The results of this study indicate the level of readiness of SMK in Banten is on average at 90% with readiness in fulfilling the substantive, technical and administrative requirements to become SMK BLUD.

| Additional Information: | Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) terkhusus di Provinsi Banten harus terus berbenah guna mempersiapkan dan mendorong Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) agar mampu dan siap bersaing dalam mencapai dan merealisasikan tujuan pendidikan dengan baik. Pemerintah terus berupaya meningkatkan mutu pendidikan, salah satunya untuk mempersiapan SMK BLUD yang belum ada di Provinsi Banten. SMK BLUD merupakan SMK yang memberikan pelayanan berupa barang maupun jasa dengan siswa SMK dapat mengimplementasikan kompetensi yang dimiliki berdasarkan keahliannya di tengah lingkungan masyarakat. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengukur tingkat kesiapan SMK BLUD serta pendeskripsian pemenuhan persyartan BLUD. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan penelitian campuran (mix method) dan desain penelitian embedded concurrent. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket tertutup dan wawancara tidak terstruktur. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis data deskriptif kuantitatif persentase. Hasil dari hasil penelitian ini menunjukan tingkat kesiapan SMK di Banten rata-rata di angka 90% dengan kesiapan dalam pemenuhan persyaratan subtantif, teknis dan administratif untuk menjadi SMK BLUD.
