Abstract
The general aim of this research is to test and analyze the influence of technical training on employee performance mediated by competence and moderated by leadership support at BBPVP Serang. The population in this research is all employees at BBPVP Serang, totaling 122 people using employee data for 2025. Sampling using census techniques or saturated samples refers to collecting data from the entire population that is the research subject. The data in this research were taken using a questionnaire as an instrument and then analyzed using a quantitative method called partial least squares (PLS) and processed using the Smart PLS version 4 software program. The results show that technical training have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, technical training has an effect positive and significant on competence, competence has an effect positive and significant on employee performance, leadership support has a positive but not significant effect on employee performance, competence is able to mediate the effect of technical training on employee performance.

| Additional Information: | Tujuan umum dari penelitian ini adalah menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh pelatihan teknis terhadap kinerja pegawai yang dimediasi kompetensi dan moderasi dukungan pimpinan di BB PVP Serang. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh pegawai di BB PVP Serang yang berjumlah 122 orang dengan menggunakan data pegawai tahun 2025. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik sensus atau sampel jenuh merujuk pada pengambilan data dari seluruh populasi yang menjadi subjek penelitian. Data dalam penelitian ini diambil dengan menggunakan kuesioner sebagai instrumen dan kemudian dianalisis dengan metode kuantitatif yang disebut Partial Least Square (PLS) dan diolah dengan software program SmartPLS versi 4. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan teknis berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, pelatihan teknis berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kompetensi, kompetensi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, dukungan pimpinan berpengaruh positif tetapi tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, kompetensi mampu memediasi pengaruh pelatihan teknis terhadap kinerja pegawai dan dukungan pimpinan tidak memoderasi pengaruh pelatihan teknis terhadap kinerja pegawai. | |||||||||
