Abstract
Indonesia is one of the countries that is diverse in terms of religion, culture, ethnicity, and language. The impact of globalization makes the role of educational institutions, especially Civic Education, crucial in instilling the values of tolerance in students. This demands that schools utilize the hidden curriculum as an unplanned learning experience. This research uses a qualitative method that aims to examine the implementation of the hidden curriculum in forming tolerance within the Civic Education subject at SMKN 1 Kota Serang, utilizing observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The research results show that the implementation has been carried out well through various forms of activities, such as positive habits in the classroom, classroom management, school rules and regulations, and teacher role-modeling. Therefore, the implementation of this hidden curriculum requires cooperation between the school, the school environment, and the students' parents, making it an effective means to shape students' character through various activities that lead to learning in Civic Education and refer to the school curriculum.

| Additional Information: | Indonesia adalah negara yang beragam dalam hal agama, budaya, suku dan bahasa. Dampak globalisasi menjadikan peran lembaga pendidikan, terutama Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan, krusial dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai toleransi kepada peserta didik. Hal ini menuntut sekolah untuk memanfaatkan hidden curriculum sebagai pengalaman belajar tak terencana. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif yang bertujuan mengkaji pelaksanaan hidden curriculum dalam pembentukan toleransi pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan di SMKN 1 Kota Serang, menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan telah berjalan baik melalui kebiasaan positif di kelas, pengelolaan kelas, tata tertib, dan keteladanan guru. Maka dari itu, pelaksanaan hidden curriculum ini membutuhkan kerja sama sekolah, lingkungan, dan orang tua, menjadikannya sarana efektif untuk membentuk karakter peserta didik melalui berbagai kegiatan yang mengarah pada pembelajaran di Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan dan merujuk pada kurikulum sekolah. | |||||||||
