Abstract
This study was motivated by the challenges found in Sociology learning, particularly in the topic of Social Problems, which include limited digital facilities and the absence of individual textbooks for students. These conditions have led to less optimal learning activities and outcomes. The purpose of this research was to develop a learning medium called Canflip and to evaluate its feasibility and practicality as an alternative instructional tool. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The subjects of this study were 29 students of class XI-6 at SMA Negeri 7 Kota Serang who utilized the Canflip media in the Social Problems topic. The media’s feasibility was assessed through expert validation by material and media specialists, while its practicality was evaluated through student response questionnaires. The material expert validation achieved a score of 105 out of 130 (80.76%) categorized as “good,” and the media expert validation gained 61 out of 75 (81.33%), categorized as “very good.” The practicality test resulted in 75.60%, which falls into the “good” category. The highest-rated aspects were visual design, image quality, and accessibility, while the lowest was user independence (62.75%). Overall, the findings indicate that Canflip is both feasible and practical for use in classroom learning. It serves as an effective alternative to support teaching and learning activities, especially in schools with limited access to printed materials or digital resources.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kendala yang dihadapi dalam pembelajaran Sosiologi pada materi Permasalahan Sosial, yaitu terbatasnya sarana digital serta tidak tersedianya buku pegangan individu bagi peserta didik. Kondisi tersebut berdampak pada kurang optimalnya kegiatan belajar serta hasil belajar siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini dalah mengembangkan media pembelajaran Canflip serta menilai tingkat kelayakan dan kepraktisannya sebagai solusi alternatif pembelajaran di sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang mliputi lima tahap: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Subjek penelitian adalah 29 siswa kelas XI-6 SMA Negeri 7 Kota Serang yang telah menggunakan media Canflip pada materi Permasalahan Sosial. Kelayakan media dievaluasi melalui validasi ahli materi dan ahli media, sedangkan kepraktisan dinilai berdasarkan tanggapan peserta melalui angket. Hasil validasi ahli materi memperoleh skor 105 dari 130 (80,76%) dan termasuk kategori “baik”. Sementara itu, validasi ahli media memperoleh skor 61 dari 75 (81,33%) dengan kategori “sangat baik.” Uji kepraktisan menunjukkan skor 75,60% yang dikategorikan “baik”. Aspek dengan nilai tertinggi adalah tampilan visual, kualitas gambar, dan kemudahan akses, sedangkan aspek dengan nilai terendah adalah kemandirian penggunaan sebesar 62,75%. Secara keseluruhan, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran Canflip dinyatakan layak dan praktis untuk digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Media ini dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif pendukung proses belajar mengajar, khususnya di sekolah yang memiliki keterbatasan media pembelajaran cetak maupun fasilitas digital. | |||||||||
