Abstract
One of the fishing gears that is installed permanently and still continues to operate in Banten Bay is the step chart. Research related to the productivity of tancap charts in Banten Bay previously showed that the highest fishing productivity value was anchovies (Stolephorus sp.) and the lowest fishing productivity was squid (Loligo sp.). The aim of this research is to determine the productivity of the Tancap fishery operating in Banten Bay before and after the Covid-19 pandemic and to determine the feasibility of the Tancap fishing business operating in Banten Bay before and after the Covid-19 pandemic. It is hoped that the benefits of this research will be to provide information regarding the productivity and feasibility of the step- by-step business before and after the Covid-19 pandemic in the waters of Banten Bay, so that it can become a reference in managing the step-on line in Banten Province. This research will be carried out in August-September 2021 in the waters of Banten Bay, with the main locations around the waters of Panjang Island (Serang Regency) and the waters of Karangantu (Serang City). This research will be carried out using survey methods and interviews with fishermen. Data collection will be carried out through observation and interviews with fishermen. The results of this research are that the productivity and availability of fisheries varies greatly from year to year due to aquatic environmental factors. A decrease or increase in the rate of fishing production can be caused by several factors apart from fishing efforts as well as fishing activities. The calculated proportion of HTU and HT in Panjang Island waters is an average of around 9.09 kg and is greater than in Karangantu waters at 9 kg. By-catch catch results in Panjang Island waters were 9.90%, this percentage was greater than Karangantu waters at 0.1%. And the calculation of the usable level of Panjang Island waters is 10.09%, this figure is greater than the Karangantu waters which is 10%. As people who work as fishermen, increasing catches is an important effort that can be done to increase income. The results of the analysis of the Bagan Tancap business successively show TR>TC, which means that this business provides benefits to Bagan fishermen, because the total costs are cheaper and the income earned is greater.

| Additional Information: | Salah satu alat tangkap yang dipasang secara menetap dan masih terus beroperasi di Teluk Banten adalah bagan tancap. Penelitian terkait produktivitas bagan tancap di Teluk Banten sebelumnya menunjukan nilai produktivitas penangkapan tertinggi yaitu ikan teri (Stolephorus sp.) dan produktivitas penangkapan terendah adalah cumi-cumi (Loligo sp.). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menentukan produktivitas bagan tancap yang beroperasi di Teluk Banten sebelum dan setelah masa pandemi Covid-19 dan menentukan kelayakan usaha perikanan bagan tancap yang beroperasi di Teluk Banten sebelum dan setelah masa pandemi Covid-19. Manfaat dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan informasi terkait produktivitas dan kelayakan usaha bagan tancap sebelum dan setelah masa pandemi Covid-19 di perairan Teluk Banten, sehingga dapat menjadi acuan dalam pengelolaan bagan tancap di Provinsi Banten. Penelitian ini akan dilakukan pada bulan Agustus-September 2021 di perairan Teluk Banten, dengan lokasi utama di sekitar perairan Pulau Panjang (Kabupaten Serang) dan perairan Karangantu (Kota Serang). Penelitian ini akan dilakukan dengan metode survei dan wawancara dengan nelayan. Pengumpulan data akan dilakukan melalui observasi dan wawancara kepada nelayan. Hasil dari penelitian ini produktivitas dan ketersediaan perikanan sangat bervariasi dari tahun ke tahun karena faktor lingkungan perairan. Penurunan atau kenaikan laju produksi penangkapan dapat disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor selain dengan upaya penangkapannya adapunn dengan periarannya. Perhitungan proporsi HTU dan HT di perairan Pulau Panjang rata – rata sekitar 9,09 kg dan lebih besar dari pada perairan Karangantu sebesar 9 kg. Hasil tangkapat by-catch perairan Pulau Panjang sebesar 9,90%, presentase tersebut lebih besar dibandingkan periran Karangantu sebesar 0,1%. Dan perhitungan tingkat usable perairan Pulau Panjang sebesar 10,09%, angka tersebut lebih besar dibandingkan periaran Karangantu sebesar 10%. Sebagai masyarakat yang pekerjaanya sebagai nelayan, peningkatan hasil tangkapan merupakan usaha penting yang dapat dilakukan untuk dapat meningkatkan penghasilan. Hasil dari analisa usaha bagan tancap ini secara berturut- turut menunjukan TR>TC yang artinya usaha ini memberikan keuntungan kepada nelayan bagan, dikarenakan total biaya pengeluaran lebih murah serta penghasilan yang didapat lebih besar | |||||||||
