Abstract
The focus of this research is on the process, activities, and capital accumulation so that social reproduction is formed in the Ganesha Operation tutoring in South Tambun. The purpose of this study is to determine the practice of social reproduction that occurs in Ganesha Operation tutoring. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with data collection using observation, interview and documentation methods. The informant selection technique used was purposive technique. There are 3 types of informants, namely Ganesha Operation Tambun Selatan students, tutors, and the head of Ganesha Operation South Tambun unit. The results showed that 1) There are 4 capitals owned by Ganesha Operation Tambun Selatan students, namely economic capital, social capital, and cultural capital, 2) The Ganesha Operation South Tambun bimbel environment as an arena where capital battles. 3) The habitus that Ganesha Operation Tambun Sekatan wants to form is a) disciplinary habitus, through supervision and discipline, b) intellectual social habitus, through learning, c) positive thinking habitus, by providing motivation, d) spiritual habitus, through enforcing worship orders. 4) The distinction that exists between students can be seen in problem solving or problems at school, motivation, insight into the world of lectures, and understanding of the material. | Additional Information: | Fokus pada penelitian ini adalah pada akumulasi modal yang dimiliki siswa dalam mengakses bimbel, fasilitas, kegiatan pembelajaran, internalisasi habitus, dan kekerasan simbolik yang tutut menjadi andil menciptakan reproduksi sosial di Ganesha Operation Tambun Selatan. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui praktik reproduksi sosial yang terjadi dalam bimbingan belajar Ganesha Operation. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik pemilihan informan yang digunakan adalah teknik purposive. Terdapat 3 jenis informan yakni siswa Ganesha Operation Tambun Selatan, tutor, dan kepala unit Ganesha Operation Tambun Selatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Terdapat 3 modal yang dimiliki siswa Ganesha Operation Tambun Selatan, yakni modal ekonomi, modal sosial, dan modal budaya, 2) Lingkungan bimbel Ganesha Operation Tambun Selatan sebagai arena yang menjadi tempat pertarungan modal. 3) Habitus yang ingin dibentuk oleh Ganesha Operation Tambun Selatan adalah a) habitus disiplin, melalui pengawasan dan tata tertib, b) habitus sosial intelektual, melalui pembelajaran, c) habitus berpikir positif, dengan pemberian motivasi, d) habitus spiritual, melalui penegakan perintah ibadah. 4) distinction atau pembedaan yang ada antara siswa terlihat pada penyelesaian masalah atau soal-soal di sekolah, motivasi, wawasan mengenai dunia perkuliahan, dan pemahaman materi.
