Abstract
This study aims to analyze the influence of competence and work discipline on employee performance at the Banten Province Regional Revenue Agency Office, against the backdrop of suboptimal achievement of regional revenue management performance indicators in 2023 (66.15% and 83.79%). This study uses the competency theory according to Maswanto et al. (2022), the work discipline theory according to Siswanto Satrohadiwiryo (2019), and the performance theory according to Kompri (2020). The saturated sampling method was used in this study, meaning all 82 civil servants (PNS). Data collection used a questionnaire created using Google Forms. Data were processed with multiple linear regression using SPSS 23. The results of the study show that the probability value (Sig.) for the influence of competence on employee performance is 0.001 < 0.05 with a calculated Tvalue of 3.312 > Ttable 1.990 which means that competence has a positive and significant influence on employee performance partially, then the probability value (Sig.) for the influence of work discipline on employee performance is 0.000 < 0.05 and the calculated T value is 4.560 > Ttable 1.990 which means that work discipline has a positive and significant influence on employee performance partially. Simultaneously, the significance of the variables of competence and work discipline on employee performance is 0.000 < 0.05 and the calculated F value is 156.811 > Ftable 3.11. The results show that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, which indicates that competence and work discipline have a positive and significant impact on employee performance at the Banten Province Regional Revenue Agency Office.

Penelitian ini menggunakan teori kompetensi menurut Maswanto, dkk (2022), teori disiplin kerja menurut Siswanto Satrohadiwiryo (2019), dan teori kinerja menurut Kompri (2020). Metode pengambilan sampel jenuh digunakan dalam penelitian ini, yang berarti semua pegawai negeri sipil (PNS) yang berjumlah 82 pegawai. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner yang dibuat menggunakan formulir Google Forms. Data diproses dengan regresi linear berganda menggunakan program SPSS 23. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai probabilitas (Sig.) untuk pengaruh kompetensi terhadap kinerja pegawai sebesar 0.001 < 0.05 dengan nilai Thitung 3,312 > Ttabel 1,990 yang berarti kompetensi memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai secara parsial, lalu nilai probabilitas (Sig.) untuk pengaruh disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai sebesar 0.000 < 0.05 dan nilai Thitung 4,560 > Ttabel 1,990 yang berarti disiplin kerja memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai secara parsial. Secara simultan signifikansi variabel kompetensi dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai yaitu sebesar 0.000 < 0.05 dan nilai Fhitung 156,811 > Ftabel 3,11. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima, yang menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi dan disiplin kerja berdampak positif dan signifikan pada kinerja pegawai di Kantor Badan Pendapatan Daerah Provinsi Banten. | ||||||
