Abstract
This research describes the intensity of using Tiktok social media on students academic procrastination behavior. This study aims to determine how the influence of the Intensity of Use of Tiktok Social Media on Academic Procrastination Behavior in Social XI Class Students at SMAN 4 Tangerang Regency, this is because Tiktok has taken up so much time that students should use to study. This study uses a quantitative method of survey type with Simple Random Sampling technique. The sample size in this study was 105 respondents from a population of 170 students. The data analysis was carried out by descriptive statistics and inferential statistics by testing the prerequisites of analysis and simple regression analysis. The inferential statistical analysis test uses the SPSS version 27 application. This study uses the theory of planned behavior (Planned of Behavior) by Iceek Ajzen. Based on the results of this study, the hypothesis value is 0.030 <0.05 with a t-count of -2.200. Furthermore, based on the results of the coefficient of determination test, it shows the amount of influence is 0.212. So it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that the intensity of using Tiktok social media has a negative effect on academic procrastination behavior in Class XI social studies students at SMAN 4 Tangerang district by 21.2%. Based on the category level, the level of intensity of using Tiktok social media in class XI social studies students at SMA Negeri 4 Tangerang Regency can be said to be 77% in the moderate category and in academic procrastination behavior in class XI social studies students at SMA Negeri 4 Tangerang Regency is also in the moderate category as much as 67%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh Intensitas Penggunaan Media Sosial Tiktok Terhadap Perilaku Prokrastinasi Akademik Pada Siswa Kelas XI IPS di SMAN 4 Kabupaten Tangerang, Hal ini disebabkan karena Tiktok telah menyita begitu banyak waktu yang seharusnya digunakan siswa untuk belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif jenis survey dengan teknik Simple Random Sampling. Adapun besaran sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 105 responden dari populasi sebanyak 170 siswa. Adapun analisis datanya dilakukan secara statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial dengan melakukan pengujian prasyarat analisis dan analisis regresi sederhana. Adapun Pengujian analisis statistik inferensial menggunakan aplikasi SPSS versi 27. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori perilaku terencana (Planned of Behavior) oleh Iceek Ajzen. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini memperoleh nilai hipotesis 0,030 < 0,05 dengan t-hitung -2,200. Selanjutnya berdasarkan hasil uji koefisien determinasi, menunjukan besaran pengaruhnya sebesar 0,212. Maka dapat disimpulkan H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima, yang artinya intensitas penggunaan media sosial Tiktok berpengaruh negatif terhadap perilaku prokrastinasi akademik pada siswa IPS Kelas XI di SMAN 4 kabupaten Tangerang sebesar 21.2%. Berdasarkan tingkatan kategori, tingkat intensitas penggunaan media sosial Tiktok pada siswa IPS kelas XI di SMA Negeri 4 Kabupaten Tangerang dapat dikatakan 77% berada pada kategori sedang dan pada perilaku prokrastinasi akademik pada siswa IPS kelas XI di SMA Negeri 4 Kabupaten Tangerang juga berada dalam kategori sedang sebanyak 67 %.
