Abstract
This study aimed to determine the effect of providing various types of planting media and AB Mix nutrient concentrations on the growth and yield of kailan (Brassica oleraceae L.) plants using a hydroponic wick system. The study was conducted from September to November 2024 at the Women's Farmers Group Seed Garden "ANDALAN" in Serang City. The experiment used a factorial Randomized Block Design consisting of 2 factors, namely planting media (M) and AB Mix nutrient concentration (K). The first factor was consisted of 3 levels, zeolite (M1), husk charcoal (M2) and sawdust (M3), and the second factor was consisted of 3 levels, 1000 ppm (K1), 1200 ppm (K2), and 1400 ppm (K3) The results showed that zeolite planting media was the best planting media, which had a very significant effect on the growth and yield of leaf vegetable with average values for the parameters of plant height, number of leaves, leaf length, leaf width, stem diameter, root length, wet weight of the crown and leaf chlorophyll respectively were 28.94 cm, 10.67 strands, 9.56 cm, 8.72 cm, 10.39 mm, 13.72 cm, 29.59 g, and 61.31 mg/g. On the other hand, the concentration of AB Mix nutrients did not have a significant effect on all observed parameters. There was no interaction between the treatment of planting media and the concentration of AB Mix nutrients. Keywords : leaf vegetable, soilles culture, water culture, wick system

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian berbagai jenis media tanam dan konsentrasi nutrisi AB Mix terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kailan (Brassica oleraceae L.) menggunakan sistem hidroponik sumbu. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan September hingga November 2024 di Kebun Benih Kelompok Wanita Tani "ANDALAN" di Kota Serang. Percobaan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktorial yang terdiri dari 2 faktor, yaitu media tanam (M) dan konsentrasi nutrisi AB Mix (K). Faktor pertama terdiri dari 3 level, zeolit (M1), arang sekam (M2) dan serbuk gergaji (M3), dan faktor kedua terdiri dari 3 level, 1000 ppm (K1), 1200 ppm (K2), dan 1400 ppm (K3). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media tanam zeolit merupakan media tanam terbaik, yang memberikan pengaruh sangat nyata terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil sayuran daun dengan nilai rata-rata untuk parameter tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, panjang daun, lebar daun, diameter batang, panjang akar, berat basah tajuk dan klorofil daun berturut-turut adalah 28,94 cm, 10,67 helai, 9,56 cm, 8,72 cm, 10,39 mm, 13,72 cm, 29,59 g, dan 61,31 mg/g. Di sisi lain, konsentrasi nutrisi AB Mix tidak memberikan pengaruh nyata pada semua parameter yang diamati. Tidak terdapat interaksi antara perlakuan media tanam dan konsentrasi nutrisi AB Mix.
