Abstract
"The Effect of the Camel Ratio, Macroeconomic Variables, and Bank Competition on the Financial Distress of Islamic Commercial Banks (2019-2023 Period") is the title of the thesis by Hanifa Nada Persada, a student at Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University, Faculty of Economics and Business, Department of Islamic Economics, under the guidance of Ms. Tenny Badina, S.E., A.K., M.E., C.A., as her first advisor, and Ahmad Fatoni, S.E., M.Ek., as her second advisor. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the Camel Ratio, Macroeconomic Variables, and Bank Competition on the Financial Distress of Islamic Commercial Banks (2019-2023 Period). This study uses a quantitative method with panel data regression analysis. The sampling technique used in this study is a purposive sampling approach, where data samples are taken according to several predetermined criteria. The data sources for this study were secondary data in the form of financial reports and Annual Reports of Islamic Banking Statistics, as well as Annual Reports of Islamic Commercial Banks registered with the Financial Services Authority (OJK), published on their official websites. The financial report data used in this study covers the quarterly periods of 2019-2023. The data processing tools used in this study were SPSS software and Microsoft Excel.

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan analisis regresi data panel. Teknik sampling yang digunakan dalam pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan pendekatan dimana sampel data diambil sesuai dengan beberapa kriteria yang sebelumnya telah ditentukan. Sumber data dari penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder berupa laporan keuangan dan Annual Report Statistik Perbankan Syariah dan Laporan Tahunan Bank Umum Syariah yang terdaftar di OJK yang dipublikasikan pada situs resminya yaitu melalui website resmi setiap Bank Umum Syariah.
