Abstract
Rice is a primary food source for almost the entire population of the world, and Indonesia is one of them. Almost the entire Indonesian society fulfills its food needs from rice cultivation. Technology is one of the important factors supporting the productivity of farmers. The Combine Harvester is a harvesting tool for rice plants with three functions: as a harvesting tool, a rice threshing tool, and also as a plowing tool. As a harvesting tool for rice, this Combine Harvester has a cutter that is about 120 cm long. This cutter moves automatically when the machine is turned on and cuts the rice in front of it. This machine works automatically with a cutting speed that is up to 50% more efficient than manual work. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. The analysis used in this research includes validity testing, reliability testing, and Spearman rank testing. Based on the results of validity and reliability, the data shows valid and reliable information from 43 respondents. Farmers' perceptions in the category of acceptance, namely production increases, production costs, quality, and production time, show a high perception, and also in the category of evaluating the quantity of rice produced, the difference in quality using traditional methods, as well as solutions for improving farmers' productivity and economy indicate a high category. Based on the results of the Spearman rank correlation test between farmer characteristics and farmers' perceptions of the use of combine harvester machines, it shows a correlation coefficient value of 0.192 with a significance level of 0.216, indicating that there is no significant relationship, and the relationship between farmers' perceptions of appropriate technology for combine harvester machines shows a correlation coefficient of -0.143 with a significance level of 0.362, which also indicates that there is no significant relationship.

| Additional Information: | Beras adalah sumber makanan utama bagi hampir seluruh populasi dunia, dan Indonesia adalah salah satunya. Hampir seluruh masyarakat Indonesia memenuhi kebutuhan pangan mereka dari budidaya padi. Teknologi adalah salah satu faktor penting yang mendukung produktivitas para petani. Combine Harvester adalah alat panen untuk tanaman padi dengan tiga fungsi: sebagai alat panen, alat pemisah padi, dan juga sebagai alat bajak. Sebagai alat panen padi, Combine Harvester ini memiliki pemotong yang panjangnya sekitar 120 cm. Pemotong ini bergerak secara otomatis ketika mesin dinyalakan dan memotong padi di depannya. Mesin ini bekerja secara otomatis dengan kecepatan pemotongan yang hingga 50% lebih efisien dibandingkan dengan pekerjaan manual. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini mencakup pengujian validitas, pengujian reliabilitas, dan pengujian peringkat Spearman. Berdasarkan hasil validitas dan reliabilitas, data menunjukkan informasi yang valid dan reliable dari 43 responden. Persepsi petani dalam kategori penerimaan, yaitu peningkatan produksi, biaya produksi, kualitas, dan waktu produksi, menunjukkan persepsi yang tinggi, dan juga dalam kategori mengevaluasi jumlah beras yang dihasilkan, perbedaan kualitas menggunakan metode tradisional, serta solusi untuk meningkatkan produktivitas dan ekonomi petani menunjukkan kategori yang tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil uji korelasi peringkat Spearman antara karakteristik petani dan persepsi petani terhadap penggunaan mesin pemanen kombain, menunjukkan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0.192 dengan tingkat signifikansi 0.216, yang menunjukkan tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan, dan hubungan antara persepsi petani terhadap teknologi yang sesuai untuk mesin pemanen kombain menunjukkan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar -0.143 dengan tingkat signifikansi 0.362, yang juga menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan. | |||||||||
