Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of Employee commitment (X1) and work motivation (X2) on employee performance (Y) through job satisfaction (Z) as an intervening variable among employees of PERUMDA Air Minum Cilegon Mandiri. The research method used in this study is quantitative, with data collection based on questionnaires and literature studies. The population in this study is all employees of PERUMDA Air Minum Cilegon Mandiri. The sample in this study consists of 53 people using purposive sampling technique. The data analysis technique used in this study is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS 4 Professional analysis tool. The results of the study show that: (1) Employee commitment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, (2) Work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, (3) Employee has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, (4) Work motivation has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, (5) Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, (6) Job satisfaction is able to mediate the relationship between employee commitment and employee performance, (7) Job satisfaction is able to mediate the relationship between work motivation and employee performance.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari komitmen pegawai (X1) dan motivasi kerja (X2) terhadap kinerja pegawai (Y) melalui kepuasan kerja (Z) sebagai varibel intervening pada Pegawai PERUMDA Air Minum Cilegon Mandiri. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan pengumpulan data berdasarkan kuesioner dan studi kepustakaan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pegawai PERUMDA Air Minum Cilegon Mandiri. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 53 orang dengan menggunakan teknik Purposive sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Structural Equation modelling (SEM) dengan menggunakan alat analisis SmartPLS 4 Professional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Komitmen Pegawai berpengaruh berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja Pegawai (2) Motivasi Kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Pegawai (3) Komitmen Pegawai berpengaruh berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja (4) Motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja (5) Kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja Pegawai (6) Kepuasan kerja dapat memediasi hubungan antara komitmen Pegawai terhadap kinerja Pegawai (7) Kepuasan kerja dapat memediasi hubungan antara motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja Pegawai
