Abstract
Background: Childbirth is a process that marks the end of pregnancy, where the fetus will be removed from the mother's womb through various delivery methods. Sectio Caesarea (CS) is often the last choice for a mother who has certain medical indications, so that she is required to undergo a surgical procedure on the abdominal wall and uterine wall. The effects caused after the analgesic effect wears off will make the patient feel varying pain and can affect their quality of life. The purpose of this study was to analyze nursing care for post-section caesarea patients using pain management through lavender aromatherapy and finger-holding therapy in the Maternity Ward of Banten Provincial General Hospital. Method: This study used a case study approach to two post-section caesarea patients, with the same non-pharmacological pain management interventions. Results: Based on the results of the assessment, two post-section caesarea patients with the main nursing problem, namely acute pain. After nursing care for 3 x 24 hours, the results showed a decrease in the pain scale in both patients. Meanwhile, in the first patient, the pain scale decreased from 7 to 2, and in the second patient, the pain scale decreased from 8 to 2. Conclusion: Lavender aromatherapy and finger-holding therapy was considered quite effective and can be used as a reference material to reduce pain levels in post-cesarean section patients with acute pain nursing problems.

| Additional Information: | Latar Belakang: Persalinan merupakan suatu proses yang menandakan akhir dari masa kehamilan, di mana janin akan dikeluarkan dari rahim ibu melalui berbagai metode persalinan. Sectio caesarea (SC) kerap menjadi pilihan terakhir bagi seorang ibu yang memiliki indikasi medis tertentu, sehingga diharuskan untuk menjalani prosedur pembedahan pada dinding perut dan dinding rahim. Efek yang ditimbulkan setelah efek analgesik menghilang akan membuat pasien merasakan rasa nyeri yang bervariatif dan dapat memengaruhi kualitas hidupnya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis asuhan keperawatan pada pasien post sectio caesarea dengan manajemen nyeri pemberian aromaterapi lavender dan terapi genggam jari di Ruang Perawatan Maternitas RSUD Provinsi Banten. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus terhadap dua pasien post sectio caesarea, dengan diberikan intervensi manajemen nyeri non farmakologis yang sama. Hasil: Berdasarkan hasil pengkajian didapatkan dua pasien post sectio caesarea dengan masalah keperawatan utama yaitu nyeri akut. Setelah dilakukan asuhan keperawatan selama 3 x 24 jam, didapatkan hasil terjadi penurunan skala nyeri pada kedua pasien. Adapun pada pasien pertama dari skala nyeri 7 menjadi skala 2, dan pada pasien kedua dari skala nyeri 8 menjadi skala 2. Kesimpulan: Pemberian aromaterapi lavender dan terapi genggam jari dinilai cukup efektif dan dapat dijadikan sebagai bahan referensi untuk menurunkan tingkat nyeri pada pasien post sectio caesarea dengan masalah keperawatan nyeri akut. | ||||||
