Abstract

Background: Laparatomy is a significant surgery involving an incision of the abdominal wall to remove diseased organs. Based on data from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, it ranks 11th in disease patterns with a percentage of 12.8%, of which 32% are cases of laparatomy surgery. Post laparatomy cases usually experience the risk of gastrointestinal motility dysfunction, requiring appropriate nutritional management interventions postoperatively, an important part of the patient's recovery process. Objective: This study was conducted to implement nutritional management in post laparatomy surgery patients at Banten Provincial Hospital. Methods: This study used a descriptive method with a case study approach in two patients. The research process is carried out through nursing care which includes assessment, determination of nursing diagnosis, planning of nutritional management interventions, implementation of nutritional management actions, and evaluation of patient progress after the intervention is carried out. Results: From the case study obtained, both patients showed the risk of gastrointestinal motility dysfunction after laparatomy surgery. patient 1 was found to have bowel noise 4 times/minute while patient 2 was found to have bowel noise 3 times/minute. after the nutritional management nursing intervention, patient 1 showed gradual improvement on day 1 bowel noise was normal but compared to patient 2 showed slow improvement. Conclusion: Nutritional management is a mandatory action in the care of postoperative patients. It can be concluded that nutritional management is effective in reducing the risk of gastrointestinal motility dysfunction, and contributes to the improvement of the patient's condition.

Additional Information: Latar belakang : Laparatomi merupakan operasi signifikan mencakup sayatan dinding perut untuk mengangkat organ yang sakit. Berdasarkan data dari Departemen Kesehatan Republik Indonesia, berada di urutan ke-11 dalam pola penyakit dengan persentase 12,8%, di mana 32% di antaranya kasus bedah laparatomi. Pada kasus post laparatomi biasanya mengalam risiko disfungsi motilitas gastrointestinal sehingga memerlukan intervensi manajemen nutrisi yang tepat pasca operasi bagian penting dalam proses pemulihan pasien. Tujuan : Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk menerapkan manajemen nutrisi pada pasien post operasi laparatomi Di RSUD Provinsi Banten. Metode : Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus pada dua pasien. Proses penelitian dilakukan melalui asuhan keperawatan yang mencakup pengkajian, penetapan diagnosis keperawatan, perencanaan intervensi manajemen nutrisi, pelaksanaan tindakan manajemen nutrisi, serta evaluasi perkembangan pasien setelah intervensi dilakukan. Hasil : Dari studi kasus diperoleh kedua pasien menunjukan risiko disfungsi motilitas gastrointestinal pasca operasi laparatomi. pasien 1 didapati suara bising usus 4 kali/menit sedangkan pasien 2 didapati suara bising usus 3 kali/menit. setelah dilakukan intervensi keperawatan manajemen nutrisi pasien 1 menunjukan perbaikan bertahap pada hari ke-1 bising usus sudah normal namun dibandingkan dengan pasien 2 menunjukan perbaikan yang lambat. Simpulan : Manajemen nutrisi merupakan tindakan yang wajib dilakukan dalam perawatan pasien pascaoperasi. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa manajemen nutrisi terbukti efektif dalam menurunkan risiko disfungsi motilitas gastrointestinal, serta berkontribusi pada perbaikan kondisi pasien.
