Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of work discipline and organizational commitment on employee performance at the Cilegon City Education Office, both partially and simultaneously. The research method used was quantitative research with a survey method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to respondents, who were employees of the Cilegon City Education Office. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS. The results showed that partially, work discipline had a positive and significant effect on employee performance with a significance value of 0.028 (<0.05) and a regression coefficient of 0.330. Organizational commitment also had a positive and significant effect on employee performance with a significance value of 0.009 (<0.05) and a regression coefficient of 0.404. Simultaneously, work discipline and organizational commitment contributed 49.2% to employee performance (R² = 0.492), while the remaining 50.8% was influenced by other variables outside this study. This finding indicates that improving work discipline and organizational commitment can be an effective strategy for improving employee performance within the Cilegon City Education Office.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh disiplin kerja dan komitmen organisasi terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Dinas Pendidikan Kota Cilegon, baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada responden yang merupakan pegawai Dinas Pendidikan Kota Cilegon. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan program SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial, disiplin kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai dengan nilai signifikansi 0,028 (<0,05) dan koefisien regresi 0,330. Komitmen organisasi juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai dengan nilai signifikansi 0,009 (<0,05) dan koefisien regresi 0,404. Secara simultan, disiplin kerja dan komitmen organisasi memberikan pengaruh sebesar 49,2% terhadap kinerja pegawai (R² = 0,492), sedangkan sisanya sebesar 50,8% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain di luar penelitian ini. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa peningkatan disiplin kerja dan komitmen organisasi dapat menjadi strategi efektif untuk meningkatkan kinerja pegawai di lingkungan Dinas Pendidikan Kota Cilegon. | ||||||
