Abstract
Background: Diabetic ulcers/diabetic wounds are tissue death caused by blockage of blood vessels (ischemic necrosis) due to atherothrombotic microemboli due to occlusive peripheral vascular disease that accompanies diabetics as a chronic complication of diabetes. Diabetic ulcer wound treatment can be done using honey and aloe vera Objective: This study aims to provide an overview of the theory and application regarding the administration of honey and on tissue integrity disorders in diabetic ulcer patients at Banten Regional Hospital Method: The research method used is qualitative research with a case study research design using a nursing care approach which includes nursing assessment, nursing diagnosis, nursing intervention, nursing implementation, and nursing evaluation. The subjects of this research were two diabetic ulcer patients who needed wound care at the Banten District Hospital Results : Nursing care was carried out for three days with one of the interventions being honey therapy wound care. The intervention was carried out once a day and took 30-60 minutes. This intervention was proven effective with the results of increased tissue integrity with the criteria of decreased pain, decreased redness, decreased necrosis and decreased infection. In conclusion, the results of nursing care carried out by researchers are in line with previous studies that honey is effective in accelerating the healing process of diabetic ulcer wounds.

| Additional Information: | Ulkus Diabetikum/Luka Diabetik adalah kematian jaringan yang disebabkan oleh penyumbatan pembuluh darah (ischemic necrosis) karena adanya mikroemboli aterotrombosis akibat penyakit vaskular perifer oklusi yang menyertai penderita diabetes sebagai komplikasi menahun dari diabetes. Perawatan luka ulkus diabetikum dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan madu Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran teori dan aplikasi mengenai pemberian madu terhadap gangguan integritas jaringan pada pasien ulkus diabetikum di RSUD Banten Metode: Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan desain penelitian studi kasus melalui pendekatan asuhan keperawatan yang meliputi pengkajian keperawatan, diagnosa keperawatan, intervensi keperawatan, implementasi keperawatan, dan evaluasi keperawatan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah dua pasien ulkus diabetikum yang membutuhkan perawatan luka di RSUD Banten Hasil: Asuhan keperawatan dilakukan selama tiga hari dengan salah satu intervensi yaitu melakukan perawatan luka terapi madu. Intervensi dilakukan setiap satu kali dalam sehari dengan membutuhkan waktu 30-60 menit. Intervensi ini terbukti efektif dengan hasil integritas Jaringan meningkat dengan kriteria hasil nyeri menurun, kemerahan menurun, nekrosis menurun dan infeksi menurun. Kesimpulannya hasil asuhan keperawatan yang dilakukan peneliti sejalan dengan penelitian sebelumnya bahwa madu efektif dalam mempercepat proses penyembuhan luka ulkus diabetikum. | ||||||
