Abstract
Sistem informasi laboratorium Jurusan Teknik Elektro Fakultas Teknik UNTIRTA saat ini masih dikelola secara manual. Cara ini sangatlah rentan dari berbagai macam kesalahan baik kesalahan teknis (technical error), maupun kesalahan manusia (human error). Kesalahan-kesalahan ini akan menyebabkan hilangnya berkas ataupun rusak. Laboratorium Jurusan Teknik Elektro Fakultas Teknik UNTIRTA membutuhkan suatu sistem informasi yang berfungsi mempermudah dosen dan mahasiswa dalam mencari sumber informasi tentang data yang berhubungan dengan laboratorium, khususnya laboratorium Jurusan Teknik Elektro. Aplikasi yang dibuat berbasis web menggunakan PHP dan MySQL. Sistem informasi laboratorium ini dibuat berbasis web agar bisa diakses secara online oleh siapa saja yang membutuhkan informasi tentang laboratorium Jurusan Teknik Elektro Fakultas Teknik UNTIRTA. Memudahkan pengguna aplikasi dalam hal akses informasi laboratorium dari mana saja dan kapan saja, dapat digunakan pada perangkat komputer yang terhubung dengan jaringan internet, dan dapat berjalan pada berbagai platform sistem operasi (multi-platform), serta tidak adanya konfigurasi tertentu yang diperlukan untuk menjalankan aplikasi.
