Abstract
Background: Ineffective breastfeeding is a common issue experienced by postpartum mothers and can hinder the achievement of exclusive breastfeeding. This condition affects the adequacy of infant nutrition and the continuity of their growth and development. One non-pharmacological intervention proven to support successful breastfeeding is oxytocin massage. Purpose: This scientific final project aims to analyze nursing care for spontaneous postpartum patients diagnosed with ineffective breastfeeding through the implementation of oxytocin massage. Method: The method used is a case study approach following the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The subjects were two spontaneous postpartum patients experiencing ineffective breastfeeding at the Regional General Hospital (RSUD) of Banten Province. Results: The findings show an increase in breast milk production after applying oxytocin massage intervention for three consecutive days, with a frequency of once daily (10–15 minutes). Conclusion: Oxytocin massage can serve as an effective complementary nursing intervention in addressing ineffective breastfeeding in spontaneous postpartum mothers. Recommendation: It is recommended that this intervention be widely implemented in maternity nursing practice to support the achievement of exclusive breastfeeding.

| Additional Information: | Latar belakang: Menyusui tidak efektif merupakan salah satu masalah umum yang dialami oleh ibu post partum dan dapat menghambat pemberian ASI eksklusif. Masalah ini berdampak pada kecukupan nutrisi bayi dan kelangsungan tumbuh kembangnya. Salah satu intervensi non-farmakologis yang terbukti mendukung kelancaran menyusui adalah pijat oksitosin. Tujuan: Karya Akhir Ilmiah ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis asuhan keperawatan pada pasien post partum spontan dengan diagnosa menyusui tidak efektif melalui intervensi pijat oksitosin. Metode: Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kasus dengan pendekatan proses keperawatan yang meliputi pengkajian, diagnosa, perencanaan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Subjek yang digunakan adalah dua pasien post partum spontan yang mengalami masalah menyusui tidak efektif di RSUD Provinsi Banten. Hasil: Karya Akhir Ilmiah ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan produksi ASI setelah dilakukan intervensi pijat oksitosin yang dilakukan selama 3 hari dengan frekuensi 1 kali sehari (10-15 menit). Kesimpulan: Pijat oksitosin dapat menjadi intervensi keperawatan komplementer yang efektif dalam menangani masalah menyusui tidak efektif pada ibu post partum spontan. Saran: Diharapkan intervensi ini dapat diterapkan secara luas dalam praktik keperawatan maternitas untuk mendukung pencapaian ASI eksklusif | ||||||
