Abstract
Banten Province is a major destination for foreign workers. These foreign workers reside or are concentrated in several areas serving as business centers. Cilegon City is one such concentration due to its industrial and port areas. The presence of foreign workers is linked to halal contamination in meatball milling facilities. Halal testing was conducted on the milling facilities using the PDK (Pork Detection Device) method. PDK is a method for detecting pork protein using immunochromatography technology. This technique is known to be easy and practical for detecting pork contamination in a short time.

| Additional Information: | Provinsi Banten merupakan tujuan utama tenaga kerja asing. Tenaga kerja asing ini bermukim atau terkonsentrasi di beberapa daerah yang berfungsi sebagai pusat bisnis. Kota Cilegon merupakan salah satu konsentrasi tersebut karena memiliki kawasan industri dan pelabuhan. Keberadaan tenaga kerja asing berkaitan dengan kontaminasi halal di fasilitas penggilingan bakso. Pengujian halal dilakukan di fasilitas penggilingan menggunakan metode PDK (Pork Detection Device). PDK merupakan metode untuk mendeteksi protein babi menggunakan teknologi imunokromatografi. Teknik ini dikenal mudah dan praktis untuk mendeteksi kontaminasi babi dalam waktu singkat. | |||||||||
