Abstract
This study aims to analyze the income, R/C Ratio, and profit of cayenne pepper farming in Baros District, Serang Regency. The research was conducted from January to March 2025 using a survey method with questionnaires as the main instrument. Respondents were selected through a total sampling method with six farmers as samples. The data used consisted of both primary and secondary data, while the analytical methods applied included cost analysis, revenue analysis, income analysis, R/C Ratio analysis, and profit analysis. The results showed that the average production cost of cayenne pepper farming was IDR 77,911,806 per hectare per season, with a production yield of 4,388.57 kg per hectare and an average selling price of IDR 45,000 per kg. The farmers’ revenue reached IDR 197,485,714 per hectare per season, resulting in a net income of IDR 119,573,908 per hectare per season. The obtained R/C Ratio of 2.535 indicates that cayenne pepper farming in Baros District is economically feasible and provides significant profit for farmers.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pendapatan, R/C Ratio, dan keuntungan dari kegiatan usahatani cabai rawit di Kecamatan Baros, Kabupaten Serang. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada Januari hingga Maret 2025 dengan menggunakan metode survei dan instrumen berupa kuesioner. Responden ditentukan melalui metode total sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak enam petani. Data yang digunakan meliputi data primer dan sekunder, dengan teknik analisis berupa analisis biaya, penerimaan, pendapatan, R/C Ratio, dan keuntungan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata biaya usahatani cabai rawit mencapai Rp77.911.806 per hektar per musim, dengan produksi sebesar 4.388,57 kg per hektar dan harga rata-rata Rp45.000 per kg. Penerimaan yang diperoleh petani sebesar Rp197.485.714 per hektar per musim, sehingga menghasilkan pendapatan bersih sebesar Rp119.573.908 per hektar per musim. Nilai R/C Ratio sebesar 2,535 menunjukkan bahwa usahatani cabai rawit di Kecamatan Baros layak secara ekonomi serta mampu memberikan keuntungan bagi petani. | |||||||||
