Abstract
This research aims to (1) describe the personalities of Abah and Ema based on Id, Ego, and Superego in the novel Keluarga Cemara 1, and (2) describe the implementation of the novel Keluarga Cemara 1 on learning in high school. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The techniques used in this research are library study techniques and note-taking techniques. The data source in this research is the novel Keluarga Cemara 1 by Arswendo Atmowiloto. Based oh the research results, 44 utterances and attitudes of the character Abah were found, including; 14 Id, 11 Ego, and 19 Superego, and 25 utterance and attitudes of the characters Ema including 8 Id, 6 Ego, and 11 Superego in the novel Keluarga Cemara 1. The results of research discussing character personalities carried out in this novel can be used as an alternative for learning to analyze novel texts in the form of the content and language of the novel text.

Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik studi pustaka dan teknik simak catat. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini, yaitu novel Keluarga Cemara 1 karya Arswendo Atmowiloto. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan 44 ujaran dan sikap tokoh Abah diantaranya; 14 Id, 11 Ego, dan 19 Superego, dan 25 ujaran dan sikap tokoh Ema diantaranya 8 Id, 6 Ego, dan 11 Superego pada novel Keluarga Cemara 1. Hasil penelitian yang membahas kepribadian tokoh yang dilakukan pada novel ini dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif untuk pembelajaran menganalisis teks novel berupa isi dan kebahasaan teks novel. | |||||||||
