Abstract

Improving the quality of education requires new innovations and has various components such as in the administration of education, quality of education, facilities and infrastructure, as well as more innovative learning methods and strategies. Learning media can be understood as anything that can convey messages in a planned and perfect manner, so as to create a conducive environment where recipients can carry out learning activities effectively and efficiently. Videos have their own appeal because they can arouse students' interest in learning. Video is a type of audio-visual media that can describe a moving object and is followed by sound that has a flow and can be useful for conveying a message. The result is that there are several students who still have difficulty understanding the learning, one of which is science learning about the development of artificial vegetative reproduction, students still have difficulty understanding the material because the learning is not practiced, and students are still unable to identify types of plants that can reproduce automatically. artificial vegetative. Students also still lack interest in learning because the learning method used is lectures and filling in questions without using video media or plant image media, which makes learning very monotonous and makes students less active. Additional Information: Dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dibutuhkan terobosan yang baru dan memiliki berbagai kompunen seperti dalam pelaksanaan pendidikan, mutu pendidikan, sarana dan prasarana, serta metode dan strategi pembelajaran yang lebih inovatif. Media pembelajaran dapat di pahami sebagai segala sesuatu yang dapat menyampaikan pesan secara terencana dan sempurna, sehingga terciptanya lingkungan yg kondusif dimana penerimanya bisa melakukan kegiatan belajar secara efektif dan efisien. Video mempunyai daya Tarik tersendiri sebab bisa membangkitkan minat belajar dari peserta dididk. Video salah satu jenis media audio-visual bisa mendeskripsikan suatu objek yang bergerak dan diikuti dengan suara yang memiliki alur dan dapat berguna sebagai menyampaikan pesan. Hasilnya ada beberapa peserta didik yang masih kurang kesulitan dalam memahami pembelajaran salah satunya pembelajaran IPA perkembang biakan vegetative buatan, peserta didik masih kesulitan memahami materi tersebut karenan pembelajaran tidak di peraktekan, dan peserta didik masih belum bias mengidentifikasikan jenis-jenis tumbuhan yang dapat berkembang biak secara vegetative buatan. Peserta didik juga masih kurang minat belajar di karenakan pembelajaran yang digunakan dengan metode cerama dan mengisi soal tidak menggunakan media video atau media gambara tumbuhan yang menjadi pembelajaran sangat monoton dan membuat peserta didik kurang aktif.
