Abstract
The different levels of ability and characteristics in each individual make the level of learning absorption in different conditions, so it is necessary to scan how the level of intelligence of students is in order to know the level of difference between one and another. The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze cognitive characteristics, differences in cognitive characteristics, the influence of cognitive characteristics, the level of cognitive ability of students in early learning and to develop cognitive assessment tools. The method used in this study is a type of survey method with a quantitative approach, the analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis of 73 respondents as a sample of 88 students who are the population. The results of the study obtained from the results of the general analysis in class x, the level of cognitive ability is still lacking, with an average value of 22.2 and a high level of individual ability gap of 6.62, in percentage terms of 48%. From each aspect of cognitive ability in each student's ability, it shows a gradual decline starting from knowledge of 64%, understanding 49%, application 40%, analysis 32%. The analysis of the two departments conducted, showed class X accounting with an average value of C1 3.53, C2 6.38, C3 2.41, C4 2.03, which showed a better initial cognitive ability level than class X TKRO with an average value of C1 3.49, C2 4.41, C3 2.04, C4 1.66, based on tests conducted with the material studied by class X TKRO. The analysis conducted on each class showed a fairly significant difference between the three classes, but between classes ak1 and ak2 the difference was not too significant, however, from the three classes there was still a fairly significant gap between the individual cognitive abilities of students. from these results it shows that the level of difference in the characteristics of cognitive abilities in each individual in class X is still quite heterogeneous and it is necessary to emphasize a different approach in the learning process carried out. | Additional Information: | Kondisi tingkat kemampuan serta karakteristik yang berbeda-beda pada setiap individu membuat tingkat penyerapan pembelajaran berada pada kondisi yang berbeda, sehingga perlu adanya scaning bagaimana tingkat kemampuan intelegensi peserta didik agar dapat diketahui bagaimana tingkat perbedaan antara satu dengan yang lainnya. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis karakteristik kognitif, perbedaan karakteristik kognitif, pengaruh karakteristik kognitif, tingkat kemampuan kognitif peserta didik dalam pembelajaran awal serta mengembangkan perangkat penilaian kognitif. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu jenis metode survey dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, teknik analisis yang digunakan yaitu analisis statistic seskriptif terhadap 73 responden sebagai sampel dari 88 peserta didik yang menjadi populasi. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan pada hasil analisis secara umum di kelas x tingkat kemampuan kognitifnya masih kurang, dengan nilai rata-rata 22,2 dan tingkat kesenjangan kemampuan individunya tinggi sebesar 6,62, secara presentase sebesar 48%. Dari tiap aspek pada kemampuan kognitif pada setiap kemampuan peserta didik menunjukan penurunan bertingkat dari mulai pengetahuan sebesar 64%, pemahaman 49%, penerapan 40%, analisis 32%. Analisis dari kedua jurusan yang dilakukan, menunjukan kelas X Akuntansi dengan nilai rata-rata C1 3.53, C2 6.38, C3 2.41, C4 2.03, yang menunjukan tingkat kemampuan kognitif awal lebih baik dari kelas X TKRO dengan nilai rata-rata C1 3.49, C2 4.41, C3 2.04, C4 1.66, berdasarkan tes yang dilakukan dengan materi yang dipelajari oleh kelas X TKRO. Analisis yang dilakukan pada setiap kelasnya menunjukan perbedaan yang scukup signifikan antara ketiga kelas, namun antara kelas ak1 dan ak2 tidak terlalu signifikan perbedaannya, akan tetapi dari ketiga kelas tersebut masih terdapat kesenjangan yang cukup signifikan antara individual kemampuan kognitif peserta didik. dari hasil tersebut menunjukan bahwa tingkat perbedaan karakteristik kemampuan kognitif pada setiap individu di kelas x ini masih tergolong cukup heterogen dan perlu adanya penekanan pendekatan yang berbeda dalam proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan.
