Abstract
Abstract This study examines taboos on language taboos within the scope of the Pilgrimage Tradition in the Sanghiyang Sirah Environment Ujung Kulon. The problem studied is looking for taboo forms and uncovering the meanings implicit in language taboos. The aim of the research is to find out the forms of taboos and to find out the meaning implied in the language taboo that exists within the scope of the pilgrimage tradition in the Sanghiyang Sirah Ujung Kulon environment. The method used is the listening method and the speaking method. The collection technique in this study used the basic technique of tapping, then continued with advanced techniques, namely; speaking engagement technique, note-taking and recording techniques. The time for data collection was from January 2021 to August 2022 at the Legon Pakis Ujung Kulon Resort, Legon Pakis Village, Sumur District, Pandeglang Regency, Banten, Karang Ranjang, Legon Pakis Village, Sumur District, Pandeglang Regency, Banten, and the Sanghiyang Sirah Ujung Kulon looting site. Data analysis was carried out in three stages, namely data identification, data classification, data selection, and data interpretation. Analysis of Language Taboos in the Pilgrimage Tradition in the Sanghiyang Sirah Ujung Kulon Environment is motivated by a feeling of fear and for the sake of comfort when visiting pilgrimage sites. How to Avoid Language Taboos Within the Pilgrimage Tradition In the Sanghiyang Sirah Ujung Kulon Environment, some use euphemisms and metaphors. The research data for this researcher appeared in a variety of languages in the form of phrases and sentences that appeared in the form of metaphors and euphemisms. Ujung Kulon as many as 37 forms, 30 in the form of phrases, and 7 in the form of sentences, and 32 in the form of prohibitions, 5 in the form of necessity if not implemented it becomes a taboo and knowing the meaning contained in the taboo forms found, the meaning and how to circumvent the taboo using linguistic tools in the form of metaphors and euphemisms. | Additional Information: | ABSTRAK Abstrak Penelitian ini mengkaji tabu pad Tabu Bahasa Dalam Lingkup Tradisi Ziarah Di Lingkungan Sanghiyang Sirah Ujung Kulon. Masalah yang dikaji adalah Mencari bentuk-bentuk tabu dan mengungkap makna-makna yang tersirat dalam tabu bahasa. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui bentuk-bentuk tabu dan untuk mengetahui makna yang tersirat dalam tabu bahasa yang ada di lingkup tradisi ziarah di lingkungan Sanghiyang Sirah Ujung Kulon. Metode yang digunakan yaitu menggunakan metode simak dan metode cakap. Teknik pengumpulan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik dasar sadap, lalu dilanjutkan pada teknik lanjutan yaitu; teknik simak libat cakap, teknik catat dan rekam. Waktu pengambilan data dari Bulan Januari 2021 s.d Agustus 2022 bertempat di Resort Legon Pakis Ujung Kulon, Desa Legon Pakis, Kecamatan Sumur Kabupaten Pandeglang Banten, Karang Ranjang, Desa Legon Pakis, Kecamatan Sumur Kabupaten Pandeglang Banten, dan Tempat penjarahan Sanghiyang Sirah Ujung Kulon. Analisis data dilakukan dengan tiga tahap, yaitu indentifikasi data, klasifikasi data, seleksi data, dan interpretasi data. Analisis Tabu Bahasa Dalam Lingkup Tradisi Ziarah Di Lingkungan Sanghiyang Sirah Ujung Kulon ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya sebuah perasaan takut dan demi kenyamanan ketika mengunjungi tempat ziarah. Cara menghindari Tabu Bahasa Dalam Lingkup Tradisi Ziarah Di Lingkungan Sanghiyang Sirah Ujung Kulon ada yang menggunakan eufemisme, dan metafora. Data penelitian pada peneliti ini muncul dengan beragam bahasa yang berupa frasa dan kalimat mucul dengan bentuk berupa Majas metafora dan Eufimisme. Ujung Kulon sebanyak 37 bentuk, 30 berbentuk frasa, dan 7 berbentuk kalimat, dan 32 bentuk larangan, 5 berbentuk keharusan jika tidak dilaksanakan menjadi tabu dan mengetahui makna yang terkandung dalam bentuk-bentuk tabu yang ditemukan, makna serta cara mengelak dari tabu menggunakan alat linguistik berupa majas metafora, dan eufimisme.
