Abstract
The occurrence of a re-election (PSU) in the 2025 Serang Regency elections and the discovery of bias in Radar Banten's political coverage of the 2011 and 2017 elections. This study aims to determine to what extent the coverage of the PSU in the Serang Regency Local Elections on Radarbanten.co.id complies with the Guidelines for Online Media Reporting (PPMS), particularly in terms of accuracy, balance, and bias and hatred. The research method used was quantitative content analysis of PSU news on Radarbanten.co.id during the period from February 22, 2025, to April 19, 2025. The theory used was the social responsibility theory. The research results showed that in the accuracy category, 4 out of 5 indicators met the accuracy category, amounting to 100%. In the balance category, only 7.8% of the news met the principle of balance. Meanwhile, no news was found to contain the categories of prejudice and hatred (100%). In addition, there were repeated news items in the coverage of the Serang Regency PSU. Two news items with different titles but with almost identical content and source quotes were found.

| Additional Information: | Adanya peristiwa penyelenggaraan Pemungutan Suara Ulang (PSU) pada Pilkada Kabupaten Serang tahun 2025 serta ditemukan keberpihakan media Radar Banten dalam pemberitaan politik Pilkada pada tahun 2011 dan 2017. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pemberitaan tentang PSU Pilkada Kabupaten Serang pada Radarbanten.co.id yang memenuhi Pedoman Pemberitaan Media Siber (PPMS) khusus pada aspek akurasi, keberimbangan, serta prasangka dan kebencian. Metode penelitian yamg digunakan yakni analisis isi kuantitatif terhadap berita PSU di Radarbanten.co.id pada periode 22 Februari 2025 – 19 April 2025. Teori yang digunakan yaitu teori tanggung jawab sosial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada kategori akurasi, 4 dari 5 indikator memenuhi kategori akurasi yakni sebesar (100%). Pada kategori keberimbangan hanya ditemukan (7,8%) berita yang memenuhi prinsip keberimbangan. Sementara itu tidak ditemukan adanya berita yang mengandung kategori prasangka dan kebencian (100%). Selain itu ditemukan adanya berita berulang dalam pemberitaan PSU Pilkada Kabupaten Serang. Dua berita dengan judul berbeda namun memiliki isi dan kutipan narasumber yang hampir sama ditemukan. | ||||||
