Abstract

In the banking industry human resources (HR) are the most valuable asset because they are the primary drivers of all operations. Without optimal HR performance, other resources like capital, methods, and technology cannot achieve their maximum potential. The mental workload and work stress of employees need to be considered so that employee productivity levels are maintained properly. This study will look at research variables such as working hours and education levels that can affect the results of the study. This study uses the NASA-TLX method to measure the mental workload felt by employees and a stress diagnosis survey to measure the level of stress experienced by all employees of Bank BTPN Pandeglang. This study involved 15 workers with various job positions such as security, tellers to operational managers. The measurement results showed that sales marketing officers experienced very high mental workloads at the beginning of the month. The work stress of Bank BTPN KCP Pandeglang employees is generally at a low level, but varies depending on the category and working hours. There is a significant difference in the mental workload of Bank BTPN KCP Pandeglang employees between the beginning of the month and the end of the month with a sig value of 0.006. The work stress of Bank BTPN KCP Pandeglang employees did not experience a significant difference between the beginning and the end of the month, except in the career development category with a sig value of 0.012 which shows a difference. There is a significant difference in quantitative workload and career development, which shows that the level of education affects work stress in both aspects.

Additional Information: Dalam industri perbankan sumber daya manusia (SDM) adalah aset yang paling berharga karena mereka adalah motor penggerak utama seluruh operasional. Tanpa dukungan SDM yang berkinerja optimal, sumber daya lain seperti aset, metode saat bekerja, dan teknologi tidak akan mampu memberikan dampak yang maksimal. Beban kerja mental dan stres kerja karyawan peru diperhatikan agar tingkat produktivitas karyawan terjaga dengan baik. Penelitian ini akan melihat variabel penelitian seperti waktu kerja dan tingkat pendidikan dapat berpengaruh terhadap hasil penelitian. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode NASA-TLX untuk mengukur beban kerja mental yang dirasakan karyawan dan survey diagnosis stres untuk mengukur tingkat stres yang dialami oleh seluruh karyawan bank BTPN Pandeglang. Penelitian ini melibatkan 15 pekerja dengan berbagai posisi kerja seperti security, teller hingga manager operasional. Hasil pengukuran menunjukan bahwa sales marketing officer mengalami beban kerja mental sangat tinggi di awal bulan. Stres kerja karyawan Bank BTPN KCP Pandeglang umumnya berada pada tingkat rendah, namun bervariasi tergantung kategori dan waktu kerja Terdapat perbedaan signifikan dalam beban kerja mental karyawan Bank BTPN KCP Pandeglang antara awal bulan dan akhir bulan dengan nilai sig 0,006. Stres kerja karyawan Bank BTPN KCP Pandeglang tidak mengalami perbedaan signifikan antara awal dan akhir bulan, kecuali pada kategori pengembangan karir dengan nilai sig sebesar 0,012 yang menunjukkan perbedaan. Terdapat perbedaan signifikan dalam beban kerja kuantitatif dan pengembangan karir, yang menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pendidikan berpengaruh terhadap stres kerja dalam kedua aspek tersebut.
