Abstract
Islamic boarding schools are one of the Islamic educational institutions that include a very ideal place and a safe place for female students by forming the character and morality of students. However, in recent years, many aspects of sexual violence cases have emerged in Islamic boarding schools, including one in Serang Regency. This phenomenon raises various urgencies to review the extent of the problems in the supervision carried out by the Ministry of Religion in providing protection for female students from sexual violence. This study aims to examine the dynamics of supervision of the Ministry of Religion, identify the challenges faced, and assess the effectiveness of the protection policies that have been implemented, this study also uses qualitative with case study methods and data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the supervision carried out still faces various obstacles including unbalanced power relations, lack of safe reporting mechanisms, limited human resources, and cultural and social challenges that make victims not have the courage to report. Although there are initiatives from the training that has been listed, starting from foster care, preparation of SOPs, and cross-agency coordination, the last implementation in the field is still found to be less than optimal. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen the supervision system that is in favor of victims and improve education on child protection based on Islamic boarding schools that are open and involve all parties.

| Additional Information: | Pesantren salah satu lembaga pendidikan Islam yang mencakup tempat yang sangat ideal dan tempat aman bagi para santriwati dengan membentuk karakter , moralitas santri. Akan tetapi, beberapa tahun terakhir muncul banyak aspek kasus kekerasan seksual yang terjadi di lingkungan pesantren, termasuk salah satu daerah Kabupaten serang. fenomena ini menimbulkan berbagai urgensi untuk meninjau sejauh mana permasalahan dalam pengawasan yang di lakukan oleh kementrian agama dalam memberikan perlindungan terhadap santriwati dari kekerasan seksual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dinamika pengawasan kementrian agama mengidentifikasi tantangan yang dihadapi, dan menilai efektivitas kebijakan perlindungan yang sudah diterapkan, penelitian ini juga mengggunakan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus dan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi , serta dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pengawasan yang dilakukan masih menghadapi berbagai hambatan antar lain relasi kuasa yang tidak seimbang, minimnya mekanisme pelaporan yang aman, keterbatasan sumber daya manusia, dan tantangan budaya dan sosial yang membuat korban tidak memiliki keberanian untuk melapor. Meskipun terdapat inisiatif dari pelatihan yang sudah tertera , mulai dari pengasuhan , penyusunan SOP , serta koordinasi lintas instansi, terakhir implementasi dilapangan masih ditemukan nya tidak maksimal. Maka diperlukan penguatan dari sistem pengawasan yang berpihak pada korban serta peningkatan edukasi perlindungan anak berbasis pesantren yang terbuka dan melibatkan semua pihak. | ||||||
