Abstract

Kusmiati. 2025. 2289210039. “Vocal Olah Learning Strategy in the Choir Extracurricular Activities of SMP Negeri 2 Legok”. Thesis. Department of Performing Arts Education. Faculty of Teacher Training and Education. Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University. This study aims to determine the vocal exercise learning strategy in extracurricular choir activities at SMP Negeri 2 Legok and the impact of the application of this learning strategy on the development of students. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the learning strategies used were direct learning strategies, indirect learning strategies, interactive learning strategies, experiential learning strategies, independent learning strategies, with Jean Piaget's constructivism approach and Carl Rogers' humanism. These strategies proved to be able to improve vocal ability, interest and motivation as well as the development of self-expression. Keywords: Learning Strategy, Vocal Performance, Choir

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi pembelajaran olah vokal pada kegiatan ekstrakurikuler paduan suara di SMP Negeri 2 Legok serta dampak yang ditimbulkan dari penerapan strategi pembelajaran tersebut terhadap perkembangan siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian memunjukan bahwa strategi pembelajaran yang digunakan adalah Strategi pembelajaran langsung, strategi pembelajaran tidak langsung, strategi pembelajaran interaktif, strategi pembelajaran melalui pengalaman, strategi pembelajaran mandiri, dengan pendekatan konstruktivisme Jean Piaget dan humanisme Carl Rogers. Strategi ini terbukti mampu meningkatkan kemampuan vokal, minat dan motivasi serta pengembangan ekspresi diri. Kata Kunci: Strategi Pembelajaran, Olah Vokal, Paduan Suara
